Hutoushan Environmental Park

Really nice sunset spot with gorgeous view over Taoyuan. Super lovely park, with good toilet facilities and vending machines for drinks. It's possible to drive all the way up and park nearby the side of the road, or taken the hike up either in the forest path or just by the roadside.

After being closed for a very, very long time, it was good to see the park open again. The restrooms have been upgraded and so has the parking area, too.

There seems to be more shaded areas for people to sit and enjoy the views of the city.

I do miss the coffee sellers who operated there in years gone buy and the park could do with a drinks vending machine for the humans and a place for the doggy visitors to drink water.

This place is so good to see view of the city and we can relax here just take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery with your friends and your family

One of the best park in taiwan that i im not get over it even though its my 2nd time around its always makes me amazed.

This place is easily accessible by car, bus, or on foot. The views on a clear day are incredible. It's a great place to spend time way from the hustle of city life.

Great place to chill on the weekend. Bring some foods and just enjoy the view and the breeze, just don't forget to clean up. Some time there will be people playing live instruments which makes the vibe even better. Toilet is available, so does parking space both for scooter and car. Tho for car most likely you'll end up park it in a road side as many people come here on the weekend. Not only enjoying the view, there is also hiking trail nearby if you want to have more adventure.

You can see the whole Taoyuan city from here, if you come to Taoyuan, you have to visit this place!!

Good for talking privately and relaxing breathing fresh air. Lovely spot for the great Taoyuan city view. Clean and well maintained.

Very nice view! Riding bike downhill is easier but there are a lot of wild dogs on the roadside and the road is narrow.

Getting there riding uphill is harder but the road seemed safer for cyclists as there's a bike lane.

A very nice place for a romantic night out with plenty of proper seating overlooking the view of the city. There's a really cool exhibition too ~ Toilet and parking are available! Recommended :)

The park though not so large by area yet has a lot of attraction. Beautiful trails through the woods, it's so delightful hearing the birds sing . Refreshment stalls at various spots where drinks and snacks are available. For kids there's also a spot to play seesaw swinging sliding and all that fun. Easy transportation via bus from Tao-yuan train station to the mountain park entrance.

By far the best night view of Taoyuan in my opinion! Well organized and maintained. Provides parking spaces for motobikes and cars. Highly recommended.

It's relaxing and refreshing but there are a lot of people on weekends.

the surroundings are quiet and beautiful and then you can see the whole city of taoyuan

Beautiful view, busy during weekend, can try to come in week days to avoid the crowd.
Hike up here might take awhile, but it's all worth it.
