Dingxi Elementary School

Dingxi Elementary School was established in August 1954 as the "Dingxi Branch of Xizhou National School, Zhonghe Township, Taipei County". In 1955, the school was established independently and became "Dingxi National School in Zhonghe Township, Taipei County". In 1958, Yonghe established a town from Zhonghe Township and changed its name to "Taipei County Yonghe Township Dingxi National School". In 1968, the Taiwan government implemented nine-year national compulsory education, and the name of the school was changed to "Dingxi Elementary School, Yonghe Township, Taipei County". In 1979, Yonghe was changed from a town to a city, and the name was changed to "Dingxi Elementary School in Yonghe City, Taipei County". In 2010, Taipei County was upgraded to a municipality directly under the central government, and its name was changed to "Dingxi Elementary School, Yonghe District, New Taipei City".
