Dongshan Highway Service Station

Convenient and nice rest service area on the Highway 3, Taiwan. Severals sax musicians usually presents their interesting and cute performance there. Enjoy it :)

Tian Tian restaurant offers delicious vegan hot pot. I highly recommend the herbal tofu hot pot. They understand vegan and we enjoyed the hot pot, vegetable plate and sesame tofu. All flavoursome but the herbal hot pot was excellent.

As far as rest stops go, this is one of the two nicest (in my opinion) headed north. There’s tons of parking, with a space counter so you know which areas have open parking spaces. Very convenient. There appears to be endless bathrooms that are clean and even have bidets in the ladies room! Inside there are several eating options, to include sushi and Korean. There are two major convenience stores- Hi Life and 7-11. There’s a local branded coffee shop and a Starbucks. Plenty of outdoor seating for a picnic and some indoor seating with Covid safety measures in place. The aquarium was empty and deserted looking when we visited on 4/8/2022.

This is a great rest stop with an abundance of food options. The 7Eleven is huge and has sushi. Lots of clean washrooms too

Convenient rest stop with Starbucks, gift shop and snacks

Lots of food shops with ok variety. Big place with enough parking spaces. Relatively clean toilets. A nice place to rest for a bit after driving a while. Stretch those legs !

Really great place to take a rest while driving on highway. Huge amount of toilets! Also places to grab a bite, buy something as a gift, etc. I especially love to sit by the 200 year old huge Banyan Tree. It's very calming and reenergizing.

Nice rest stop on the number 3 freeway. Clean restrooms a range of food and souvenirs. The 200 year old Banyan tree is a must see. Always worth stopping there just to soak up the atmosphere, even if you don't need a rest.

The service area on national highway number 3 in Tainan~ Hidden in trees, this place surrounded by the green is rather quiet and. The public facility is well maintained. It is somewhere to rest and refill petroleum on the midway.

The rest area is quote cozy, restroom is clean. There is several restaurants with special menus.You can get Taiwanese food, Japanese food, Korean food and well McDonald as well.

I love this place! Good food, cheap 7 eleven coffee, beautiful grounds, clean toilets, a dog exercise area - who knew so much fun could be had at a freeway services!?

The convenient rest area have toilet, restaurants and stores, but the most important one is gas station.

Great food, great service. Taiwan is amazing for visitors.
