New Taipei City Library

Public library with good facilities. It's a good place to read, study, and spend time. They have not only book and magazine collections but also self-study rooms, audio/video rooms, gaming areas, auditorium rooms, meeting rooms, etc. They also regularly host free lectures and events for the public.

Good library to work at. No library card needed to access. Nice clean modern interior. There are many seating options available across all 9 floors. The counter seats along the windows give you a nice view. Most tables have power outlets. WiFi isn't super fast but it was stable. It fills up, so arrive early to get a good seat. There's a Louisa coffee shop on the first floor with a work area as well. There's even an e-sports area. The "themed" reading rooms are a nice touch!

Fantastic public library especially the cutting-edge facility at the fifth floor!

I love this library. I accidentally found this but then moved to here from Muzha mainly bcz of this cozy ambience to study. With cafe inside. Plenty of collections and resources to enjoyyyyy.
Take a walk nearby river park.
A mart nearby. So can have good meal for lunch there.
Perfect location.
However hard to find seats during big test time.

Library's collection is varied and accessible. They even have a manga section (I haven't seen any library in Taiwan with such a collection, although all the mangas are in Chinese). There's a Louisa café on the first floor.

Really good library

A great library in the city . In addition, there is a nice little park outside the library which is suitable to take a walk or jog.

As one of the biggest libraries in Northern Taiwan, it offers a variety of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs and audio books.

There are even some individual outdoor cabins on the fourth floor, which allows you to enjoy the sunlight and fresh air while reading.

Lastly,if you would like to keep studying your own material after the library is closed, the spacious 24-hour self study room gives a great advantage for those who like to stays longer.

Helpful staff members. Well organised. I wish there are more books in English for adults. Time well spent whenever I take my kids here.

Only one problem with this library...it's so beautiful and perfectly quiet and almost luxurious that I just want to sleep rather than study!

Beautiful views and lots of light (which is a rarity in New Taipei City).

Recommend to visit the library by taking MRT to Far Eastern Hospital Station.

I like their comics books area so much, loving their Japanese and Korea comics.

Feel like stepping into a future building. Very modern design, intelligent and spacious.

I love how neat and big the library is. There are so manyyyy english novel bookssss!
