Dong Tair Spa Hotel

Very relaxing hot spring experience. There are many different options for hot springs. There are cold and warm springd for kids, a water playground and splash pad for kids, a sauna, and three levels of hot springs for adults. You must wear swimsuits and swim caps. There are food options in the hot springs area like ramen, bamboo rice containers, and other stuff. You can also boil eggs. The hotel is an older hotel but that means the hot spring is more pure. If you don't want to bathe outside, you can also bathe in your room. The water from the sink and bathtub are all hot springs water. Restaurant options are extremely limited but the food at the hotel is pretty good. Dinner is order ahead for an appointed time. There is a snack area with crackers, ice cream and coffee.

I remember coming to this hotel, on a group tour, about three years ago. It was my favorite part of the tour. The restaurant and spa were both lovely. I'm really glad I was able to find this place again.

Very good amenities, room smells slightly of mold, but only to be expected as a facility with a hot spring.

The hot spring at this establishment is excellent. Has both an outdoor springs, complete with a pool to swim in, and an inside spring to soak in during inclement weather. It also has a spa, though some facilities at the spa are failing due to age.

There are also Karaoke lounges and pingpong tables, the latter of which is near the changing area of the hot spring.

We only went to the hotspring spa rather than the hotel, so I cannot comment on the rooms. The hotspring was pretty awesome though and worth the 300 NT per adult and 150 NT per child. A lot of people seem to make a day of going to this spot and take lunches and dinner. They have piCnic tables in a patio overlooking the river and next to the pool that is more “hydro spa” than swimming pool. You can also buy eggs, corn, potatoes and I think a couple other types of food and cook it in the hotsprings water. I haven’t been to any other springs/pools in the area, but I really like this one!

The bed in the room is soft,also there is a bar that u can drink coffee or tea,eating cookies. The hot spring is great here.

Amazing location.. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place is kids-friendly.. The Spa was good to relax in the amazing atmosphere due to the location (surrounded by hills)..

we didn't stay at the hotel. we just used the outdoor public hot springs. we checked few in the area and these were the best we found.

An older hotel but has gone through new renovations, friendly staff, large quiet rooms and huge spa and swimming area.

Awesome place to come and chill when the weather gets cold, you can buy eggs ice cream drinks chips and other snacks here too

房间干净，可以在房间泡温泉很赞！
早餐餐点丰富，不过如果可以有牌示解释不同餐点会更理想。

能够一天多次进入露天温泉设施很赞。

昨晚第一次嘗試露天泡湯，太多人了，對泡湯沒有太多了解，所以蠻無感。

今天早上泡湯遇到一位很友善的阿伯，知道我來自新加坡，與我分享了許多心得，改變了我對泡湯的想法。

在此把他的分享讓更多人知道：

知本東台Spa溫泉養生館泡湯順序

a) 38.5度水池： 泡15分鐘
b) 17.1度冷池： 泡5分鐘
c) 42.7度水池： 泡10分鐘
*首5分鐘浸泡在水裡至下巴處*
*接下來5分鐘只把水浸到膝蓋，主要目的是靠排汗來排毒*
d) 17.1度冷池： 泡5分鐘
可以重複

e) 烤箱5分鐘
f) 可以嘗試各種Spa設施

結束前一定要泡冷水池，把水分鎖住。

為什麼需要冷熱交替泡，因為台灣早上晚上的溫差很大，身體會很難負荷。

冷熱交替泡湯能夠讓我們的身體對高氣溫，冷氣溫有記憶點。 這樣身體比較能夠負擔這樣的氣溫變化。

泡湯的療癒功能很強，阿伯有朋友有高血壓的問題。 連續泡湯一個月後，血壓降到回健康水準。

這次的知本泡湯之旅收穫滿滿，下次一定要再回來

對於飯店，我秉持著能過夜就好的心態，但這家太優秀，令我念念不忘！！！
我們是過年期間入住的景觀房，本來想說這有什麼好景觀的，直到我看到對面的山壁房⋯⋯這裡景觀房的景觀真的很不錯！！（比較出來的）
晚餐管飽，早餐也管飽！！
每道料理不能稱上都符合口味，但料理有在用心，也有部份料理是我沒吃過的，非常驚艷。就算連住兩天，菜色在烹飪手法上都略有變化（但食材本人是一樣的，我懷疑可能剛好不同人煮的？？）
早餐就連續兩天都一樣的自助吧～但我很喜歡那個擔仔麵，超喜歡自行調味的部份～～超有趣的（但味道自行負責）
然後我超愛他們自助吧的台東釋迦，不愧是產地，有夠大方切超大塊，吃起來非常快樂又過癮，一退房就去市區路邊就直接買了兩箱回家。
身為吃貨，我覺得有被餵飽、餵好，你就值得5顆星！！
房間沒什麼特別需要闡述的，沒有令我不適的缺點，唯一的各大飯店通病：隔音不佳，也在隔壁媽媽細心安撫和爸爸的威嚇下，小孩成功在10點前就寢，沒有什麼大問題。
就是房間浴缸小了點，所以只好去外面的大眾池，然後一路狂奔過馬路⋯⋯我好冷⋯⋯
我不重視溫泉，所以感覺上還好～～雖然大眾池營業到晚上11點（吧？），但其實泡一個小時就夠了，不然身體會不堪負荷。
有各種溫度和形式的溫泉，還有溫泉蛋，吃起來就⋯⋯蛋。（不意外）
因為不管晚餐還是早餐都管飽的關係，我沒能好好體驗一樓的點心吧，有免費飲料和點心，但我的胃真的裝不下了QAQ
雖然都是簡單的點心飲料，但勝在有心！！
原本還覺得價格有點高，但看著其他家不管好吃也不管飽的，這家是神！！下次路過台東，就算不泡溫泉也要去你們這一家！！
缺點：有點深山，以為自己錯過了，沒想到居然還沒到？？？
過馬路要小心，出門記得帶券，不然外面真的好冷⋯⋯

東台溫泉飯店跟東台溫泉養生館剛好對臨相望，可買單日票成人$350、小孩$250（80-140公分高）享受各式溫泉♨SPA、兒童沙坑、戲水池、椰林溫泉池、檜木烤箱、桌球、兒童遊戲室B1等多重享受。
如果是入住東台溫泉渡假飯店，當然是可以免費享用SPA會館的任何設施。泡湯完穿著泳衣過馬路就可以抵達下榻飯店，挺方便的。

溫泉會館內有溫泉烹煮區，可煮溫泉蛋、玉米🌽、地瓜等，也可以自備餐食耗上一整天，坐在深山裡享受著咖啡與山景，整個人的步調也慢下來了⋯⋯
整體空間規劃不錯，除了家庭聚會外也適合工商活動，開放歇息空間處處都有插頭🔌提供使用，貼心又佛心。
