Art'otel Ximending TAIPEI

We loved the design, very much like NYC / Berlin style. Great location. Bed was soooo comfortable. Nespresso and Dyson hairdryer in our room. Laundry available. 4th floor, we had an interesting view☺🙏 Dont be scared by entrance, hotel is different 😝😝

The service of the front desk staff at this hotel was excellent. To mention specifically Naomi and Thomas. I had a complicated issue with my booking and they worked to help resolve the issue while keeping my best interest. I would stay again if visiting taipei.

I stayed in Art'otel Xi-mending TAIPEI in February 2023 for 6 Night. This was my first visit to Taiwan and i cant recommend the hotel enough. So let me get started with the basics.

The immigration process took 3 whole hours and i arrived at the hotel a little late than my informed time. But everything was perfect from the get go. The check in process was a breeze. I was quickly allocated my room and the room was perfect. It was clean, nice and absolutely comfortable. The decor is minimalist and that's the charm of the room. Bonus is that each room is equipped with an espresso machine and a few snacks which was a blessing since i had been hungry for over 10 hours. I headed out in search of proper food after fuelling on the snacks but exhaustion was getting to me and the vegan place i was supposed to get food from just closed up as i arrived. After grabbing a few snacks from 7/11, i headed back to the hotel and i had the warmest experience of my life. Thomas (the person who had checked me in) offered an entire bowl of desert from his personal stack just because i couldn't find any food. This was by far the best welcome i have received in a country.

Now one might be thinking that this is a one of experience. But NO! Next day, i met Naomi (another member of Art'otel). I chatted with her for sometime and asked for direction to Tian-Yuan Temple to see Sakura. Guess what! Not only did she gave e direction but even offered to accompany me to the temple on her day off. Needless to say, i jumped on it and we went on a whole day excursion of riding bicycle to Tamsui, taking bus to the temple and then ended the day with a perfect tea experience at Dihua street. She was such a sunshine of a person and I couldn't have asked for a better company. (Naomi, I will await your India Visit and cant wait to show you around :)).

I had to take this specific time, effort and words for Thomas and Naomi since they made my trip so much more special.

Now coming to the hotel, Not only the rooms are amazing but the surrounding area is bustling. You are right in the middle of Xi-minding and there is nothing you will lack. There are tons of 7/11, train station is just easy 9 minutes walk and there are beautiful graffiti lanes around the hotel where you can go Graffiti hunting.

This was my first visit to Taiwan and it couldn't have been better. If i ever end up in the city again, I wont be staying anywhere else. :)

Really friendly and helpful staff, not far from ximenting but not too near for the noise to distribute yourself, there alot of convenient store nearby. Room is clean and cosy, there is even eco cleaning to choose from.

I must say that it was an amazing experience. The cozy atmosphere of the hotel made me feel comfortable right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist me during my stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was also outstanding, and it made me feel at ease. The hotel's location was also convenient, making it easy for me to get around and explore the area. Additionally, the reasonable price was a great value for the quality of the stay. I highly recommend Art’otel Ximending Taipei to anyone looking for a cozy hotel with friendly staff, a clean environment, a good location, and a reasonable price!

I want to thank you all the Hotel staff at Artotel Ximinding, their service were world class. Staff were warmly and friendly. We would want to specially thank the reception guy that work night shift, as our toddler were crying nonstop in the middle of the night, he offer to give soft toy as comfort. This greatly help calm her down. Greatly appreciated.
This is also one of the hotel that clean the room daily. Everything was super clean. And free usages of washing machine and dryer. Would definitely come back to stay at this hotel again.

We loved staying at this hotel. The location is convenient, just a close walk to the station and right in the hustle and bustle of the night market but somehow also away from all the noise. Staff were amazing and they really go above and beyond for their customers. Shoutout to Thomas. We had an issue with our booking because of Covid and he really fought for us to get our credit extended. All the staff there were genuine, courteous and always keen to help. Rooms were on the smaller side but they were exceptionally clean. Highly recommend!!

Great service from the hotel staff, and especially Thomas who wowed us with his hospitality.

We booked a mid sized room for a family of 3 from Singapore for 6 nights. This 3-star hotel with its interior decorated in austere industrial aesthetics, exudes an edgy and chic vibe. Its appeal to young adults is apparent, given its location as well.

What tops the experience during our sojourn in Taiwan is the hotel service. Nespresso capsules and fresh towels were replenished and replaced promptly whenever we requested. Staff even made exception (while emphasizing that we must maintain silence) for us to use the common pantry after the pantry opening hours. The staff are also very knowledgeable when it comes to the usual touristy queries like how to get to somewhere, what’s good to eat, recommendation for shopping etc.

Overall, big thumbs up to this trendy no-frills, economical and friendly hotel. Will be back again when in Taipei.

Staffs there were nice and extremely helpful. The room nice and comfy with a smart tv with Netflix.

My stay at Art’otel was exceptional. I was greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings within the neighborhood. The hotel is located in the heart of Ximen, where restaurants, cinemas are all within walking distance. The room is fully equipped, they even have nespresso machine inside the room! And the amenities in the room are all complimentary which is a very kind gesture. Most importantly the price for the room per night is surprisingly affordable and totally worth every dollar you spend. Would highly recommend!

This is a wonderful hotel with clean rooms. Here the staff really cares about every guest, and do their best to ensure that the stay here is comfortable for every guest! Very caring, hospitable and kind staff, and even if you suddenly fall asleep and forget to put your clothes in the dryer after washing, they will carefully do it for you. The room is cleaned very well, bed linen and toiletries are changed every day, you can order food and leave money at the reception and the manager will deliver food to your room and wish you bon appetit) In general, I have no complaints about the service. Everything is at a high level. I highly recommend this hotel. Special thanks to Tomsan. best!

This is my first time to travel Taiwan. I can not say enough wonderful thing for this hotel. I stayed there during 30 Dec - 2 Jan. The staff was great! If I have questions at all or needed some help, Thomas the concierge, or the
front desk staff was happy to bring it to my
room for me! Always smiling , very friendly and very kindly every time! He so cute. He spend of time almost 1 hr. for explaining some topic to me. That's very very useful!! Moreover , he is also waiting to explain again Tomorrow. That's so cute! And he and I became friends. He made me comfortable while staying here. The housekeeper so great. The room super clean and quiet. The room have everything already prepared comb , razor , hair dryer etc. The hotel is about 450 meters from the MRT station. I do not know how to explain this hotel so good. If you have a chance to go Taiwan . I think Art'otel is a good choice.

Excellent hotel! Friendly staff, Thomas is awesome and helpful. Beautifully renovated comfy bed, great shower and bath products, fine linens, soundproof rooms, tons of cable channels and a perfect location with tons of bars and restaurants. Do not hesitate to book!

Do not miss Hanko 60 bar, Tea Water for the best bourbon foam black tea and Gan Mei Alley for Din Tai Fung quality Taiwanese food for 1/2 the price!

It was our second time staying at this hotel cos our family love to mingle around Ximending at night after our day tour out of taipei. The hotel location is definitely wonderful for shopping and yet no noice nuisance during our stays. Perfect for us!
Love the interior design of the hotel, chic industrial touched cosy space. I’m so surprised that their white brick tiles in the washroom could be so well maintained even after the pandemic. Using the public washroom while my son occupying our room’s toilet, it’s amazing that they actually installed a motion sensor to flush water in this public used space. I guess it’s a contactless implementation to prevent the spread of infections disease, very thoughtful.
Friendly and helpful staff, I hope they don’t find us a troublesome guest. My husband and I are coffee enthusiasts, we needs coffee every morning to get the engine warmup. Appreciate that there was free Nespresso provided in each room, I thought the last time we had this service was in MBS singapore. Not being greedy, we actually asked for more capsules, the counter staff brought the entire box to let us choose the flavour we like, overwhelming service. The hotel definitely go extra miles for their guests. In the last two days of our stay, we realised that our cash might be be enough. Checked with the hotel staff how we could exchange more currency. The only way we could do was to go to the bank. However, the staff offered us to exchange with us based on the Internet currency.

There was only one thing that we hope for better - pantry area to be open for longer hour at night. I think public pantry cum. Laundry room will be closed after 10/10:30pm daily. No noise creation at night is definitely thoughtful for all the room guests, however, a soundproofing panel could be installed to demarcate a chill out area for small family or groups of friends to drink and have supper there.

Overall pleasant experience staying at this hotel. Highly recommended for single, couple or groups of people. For ladies, do bring ur own hair conditioner, but not too worry, 24hrs convenient stores are just a few steps from the hotel. And if you need transport service, do contact the staff b4 arriving Taiwan, they can assist to book excursion private car for you too.

Loved our stay here! Staff were so friendly. Everything felt clean and really loved the location.

Great for local and foreign tourists right at the beginning of the famous night markets around if you want plenty of shops, food , and multi cultural visitors. A must visit for those that like the busy life of a city! Never a dull moment from various street performers and singers!

I stayed in the windowless room for two nights. It's a nice location, with many cinemas along the street, even one opposite.
Staff is very nice, making sure I'd bring a jacket along as the weather is turning cold.
Room also comes with Nespresso machine and some capsules, minibar snacks are for you to consume. There's water filtered water at pantry if you want a refill.
Love the design and thoughtfulness in details. I.e. two coloured toothbrush and two different coloured slippers, so both partner won't get items mixed up, thus hygienic.

Friendly staffs, love their coffee machine which brighten up my day… cleanliness 5star⭐

Amazing service from all front desk staff. Above and beyond what I would expect, and I manage 3 major brand name hotels in the US! Rooms are clean and well supplied, if on the simpler, smaller side compared to in the States. Nespresso coffee makers in the room too.
While It’s not what you would experience from the major brands, funky decor in the public spaces will appeal to your artistic side. You do need to go through what seems to be a somewhat shabby residential lobby up to the 4th floor (Elevator) to the hotel lobby.
Location being right in Ximending is very convenient, like having a night market at your doorstep.
