Namaste! We celebrated our friend's birthday here. The Indian ambiance is elegant and cool. The food is really good from soup, main course, to dessert. The service is impeccable. We had a great time. Thank you! We'll surely come back.

One of the best Indian cuisine I've ever tried. 🙌🤝

Food was very delicious! The appetizer is very unique, veggie salsa with crunchy pastry underneath. Curry is not too salty but flavorful, we tried the herb lamb flavor,eat was very tender, almost melted inside the mouth. Garlic flavor naan is recommended.

Of the Chilliesine chains, this is one of the most gorgeous. My friend and I may have taken too many photos as even the manager noticed. He promptly gave us hats as props and suggested an empty corner table as a good backdrop.

There were a lot of people there at 5pm so reservations are recommended. Saw lots of kids thoroughly enjoy all the colorful lanterns, intricate chairs, and menus. There's a separate alcove with a map background for larger parties / special events. Parking spots are right in front of the restaurant which we were lucky enough to get.

We ordered the paneer curry w/ a side of naan and the lamb biryani to share. The paneer was on the thinner side and a bit too oily for me. Besides that, everything was great and authentic. Service was superb, well-staffed. Plenty of fluent English speakers. You can call ahead to make a reservation.

Excellent food and really good variety of vegetarian options. Service and atmosphere are also excellent. I got the 1-person meal with aloo ghobi (cauliflower/potato), daal soup, and naan. Masala chai was delicious.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now. They have an excellent selection of Indian dishes on the menu. The food is absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the butter chicken and palak paneer. It’s difficult to find excellent Indian food in the Hsinchu area, so Chilliesine is a diamond in the rough. It’s located on a side street, so parking can sometimes be difficult. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Indian food.

Fantastic decoration and nice atmosphere. Authentic Indian flavor restaurant (the owner is Indian). Handmade naan was awesome! It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Soup, curry and chicken were also really tasty. Nice service.

The ambiance and staff are really great. Our attendant, Anna, is very interactive with us and makes sure everything is set. The food is great, highly recommended for an authentic Indian experience. Will definitely come back.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Chilliesine. I had a lot of meal! Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a lunch/dinner with their loved ones! This restaurant is one of the best restaurant I have been so far.

After 5 days of eating local taiwan rice & beans, bread & butter (in breakfast), we had lunch here. Its like today is Diwali. Enjoyed food.

Drinking Hot Tea bring happiness on your face. Same Indian Taste. In fact better then some restaurants in India.

I have been visiting Chillies Indian Restaurant, Hsinchu since the very first week of their operation. So, I have seen how they are improving their service over the past one year. There is no doubt that you will see some negative reviews also. That is simply because, everyone has their own expectations and choice/taste of food. If you see all positive reviews, then it would be fishy. Criticism is necessary for the improvement of service, if it is taken positively. From my experience of being a regular customer of Chillies since their first week of operation, I can say that they have taken the criticism positively and have improved their service a lot. Other than visiting their restaurant for normal dining, I have reserved their place for birthday party as well as wedding reception. Below are my experiences;

Birthday Celebration:
It was my friend's birthday and few of us have planned a surprise party for her at Chillies. We bought the birthday cake and placed it at the restaurant in advance. In the evening when we arrived and started our party, Chillies even have surprises for us too. They played birthday songs all over the restaurant and came near to us to wish and sing birthday song. Also, they provided us free drinks as birthday gifts. That weren't the part of the plan and we were overwhelmed by their kind gesture.

Wedding Reception:
Recently I have arranged my post wedding party for my colleagues (all Taiwanese) at Chillies. I have estimated a budget and decided the menu together with their manager (Ms. Mei). Also, I have told her what are my expectation regarding food and decoration. I was also constantly on phone with the owner, Mr. Minesh and discussed with him all my requirements. Initially, I was thinking to prepare a nice video to highlight the wedding moments and play in their TV. However, due to lack of time, I couldn't manage to prepare the video. So, I gave all the pictures to Mei to play them as slideshow. To my surprise, Mei took the pain on herself and prepared an awesome video by accurately identifying differentiating pre-wedding, engagement, wedding and reception pictures accordingly. Also, their team helped us to decorate the restaurant. Also, they customized my menu for each table and served the food accordingly. And everything came well within my budget even after we ordered additional dishes towards the end. My total number of guests were nearly 36 and it was comfortable for them to roam around with kids and softly dancing on the floor.
So, I will highly recommend Chillies, Hsinchu for any kind of party with numbers of guest ranging between 30-50.

N.B.: One suggestion to Chillies, no Biriyani lover likes to buy raita separately and that makes me sad every time I go to Chillies to eat Biriyani. I hope they will take it as a serious note.

The meal is good, this is our first time to try here, but taste feet us week.
My families and I love the meal all, and wish to come soon again.

The location of the restaurant and the ambience is amazing. The soup and daal tadka were delicious. Their food is good in quality.

In this restaurant taste Is close to native indian foods.
