Huaxi Street Night Market

Bring Taiwanese dollars with you!! Can't go wrong with food options at a Night market! It's super close to another night market so easy to walk through both of them.

First night market experience for me in Taiwan. Nice, variety, delicious, all looked great~ . After spending numerous night markets throughout the country in 2 weeks. I think this market is on my top of the list.

Great to see the real deal non-touristic Taipei.

This night market is within walking distance from the popular Ximending. Although it is not well known to tourist but it offers the same food items. If you prefer less crowded and cheaper option, you may consider this place.

Great little night market for food and some shopping. Must try the Michelin recommended Gua Bao but be prepared to queue for this fantastic snack.

One of the most famous and crowded night markets in Taipei. There are a ton of shops here, including traditional cuisine restaurants.

When I visited the place and picked a stand for dinner a local insisted on offering a beer to me and my friend, to demonstrate Taiwanese hospitality. A warm hospitality indeed! We ate, drank and enjoyed the conversation untill late.

Nice area, with some fantastic street food. The scallion pancakes are a must try here, they're superb 👌🏼

Strong local vibes with many locals eating steamboat and fried dishes in the midst of heavy rain. Local food including fried dishes, pastries and even snake soup

This place was very fun are full of many shops people are very friendly. As I was walking down the street I found this hot pepper me but this thing is so good.

I visited the market on recommendation from one of the local tour guides, as we were looking to try something exotic — Huaxi is known for its snake delicacies. Upon arrival, we were (happily) distracted by the amount and variety of food we had there! We ended up eating all sorts of things — pig’s trotters, smelly tofu, pork rib soup, etc. Love the variety and how cheap everything is, but most of all, the market isn’t as crowded as the others (Shilin, Raohe).

Can’t miss this if you’re a foodie. The seafood there is very fresh and everyone should definitely give this a go!

Snake blood anybody? In actually rather good!

Looking for local food and exotic one like snakes, come here. There are many variety of food here. Most of them are carb oriented. Well, I think people are here not for food. There visit Longshan temple and then drop by for foods and massage. Umh, there are snakes in front of restaurants which people say those are food ingredients.

Not bad for night market. Experience it!!!
