Çağla's Gift Shop

We found Cagla’s Gift Shop by accident on our trip to Istanbul last year .The owner and his daughter were so kind and friendly and we bought some towels and soaps. We love using the towels and enjoyed the soaps which smell so good that I had to get more! Fast forward to today where I just received my order for more soaps! The communication and shipping experience to the U.S. was easy and fast! I’m one very happy customer and highly recommended this shop for the quality of their products as well as their fantastic customer service. I highly recommend this shop! 10/10!!! 👍😊

I went to visit the shop on my trip to Istanbul in summer. They were very nice and they have high quality products in pure cotton. I bought two towels that worked really well for the seaside (they dry fast). I immediately regretted I didn’t buy more!!! So, once back in Germany I wanted to order online but there were some issues with the card payment. The owner made the best customer support ever via whatsapp, and was also very patient because in the middle I even lost my phone. I received my order pretty fast and I am very happy to have a touch of Turkey in my home! Thank you so much Çagla!!!

We found this place by chance, and are very glad that we did. I bought a beautiful robe and towels that are soft and high quality. Lots of choice and colours available. Bring cash (euros are also okay) My daughters and I enjoyed chatting to the owner, via Google translate, while my husband went to the ATM. Friendly and professional service.

Really nice gift shop in the Galata neighborhood of Istanbul. The owner and his family are extremely friendly and speak good English which made communication very easy, and don’t forget that since this is Turkey you can do a little bartering to get a good deal…I bought two very nice towels here and super happy with my purchase, highly recommend this store!

We stayed at the Selvese Collection hotel in Beyoglu across the street from Cagla's Gift Shop and admired the fabrics from the window for a couple of days before going in. When we finally were able to shop, we quickly realized that the selection of beautiful cotton goods was incredible, with endless patterns and colors and so, so soft to the touch. We picked out some gifts for family and when we went to pay, Nesim explained that he really preferred cash. We didn't have any cash, but needed it for other things anyway, so we took a short walk to an ATM and came back. Nesim greeted us with tea and we sat in his shop and spoke with him for awhile about his business. Despite the language barrier, it was a lovely conversation and ended up being a highlight of our trip; Nesim being the example of the warm and inviting nature of Turkish people.
Make sure you take cash! Our only regret was that we didn't buy more!! Teşekkürler, Nesim!

Nesem the owner is a wonderful and honest man. We stopped and looked at his shop. He explained and showed us what an imitation towel looks like. We looked at other shops the next day but nothing compared to what he sells so we went back and bought 14 towels from him at a very good price. If you are looking for authentic Turkish towels go to his store. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful Turkish cotton towels and textiles. Also sells other items such as soaps etc. I bought some of the cotton towels as gifts.

Great quality goods, very friendly and helpful owner. We bought towels, soap, head coverings - all fabric goods are high quality Turkish cotton. We are so glad we found this shop and didn’t go for those stores closer to main tourist areas.

магазинчик с текстилем. судя по всему, это старая метка на карте, сейчас они находятся чуть выше по улице. название и вывеска такие же, но фасад новый. очень классный, чистый и приятный магазинчик, где можно найти красивые текстильные предметы для дома: полотенца, халаты их хлопка, муслима. цены отличные! стильное банное полотенце за 60 лир 👌🏼 отличный вариант для подарков с собой. приятные владельцы, которые только рады помочь с выбором: перемеряли миллион халатов в поисках нужного цвета и размера, без суеты и толп народу, как если бы это происходило где-нибудь на рынке. очень рекомендую это место: классный ассортимент и цены, находится на приятной улочке, можно расплатиться картой. удачи хозяевам! 🙌
