DORUK PALAS HOTEL

My family and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and had nice view. The Turkish breakfast was fantastic and they offered a variety of coffees and teas. The managers (including Mr Osman, the resident cat) and staff were super nice and helpful. They go above and beyond to make it a memorable stay. They also gave us great tips on where to eat.
Will absolutely go back to this hotel.

We have just had 3 nights at this hotel for our first trip to Istanbul. The hotel is clean and modern and has everything you would need for a city break stay. The breakfast is also very nice with a variety but the best part of the hotel is the staff - myself & my partner want to thank Ahmet, both Muhammad’s & Hassan. They are so kind and friendly, accommodating and welcoming. They also have great tips for the city. When we come back in the future we would definitely stay again. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had three unforgettable days at the hotel. The lobby manager, Mr Osman, was really lovely, he chose to sleep with us on one of the nights, very lovely and quiet, the ultimate luxury. The owner recommended and many delicious restaurants.
Every member of the service staff was very friendly and generous, we were given complimentary coffee and black tea which was warm and delicious. The breakfast was varied and delicious. I love this hotel, cosy, clean, great service and a lovely souvenir from the owner when we checked out. If I were to return to Istanbul, I would absolutely choose this hotel again. ❤

The best hotel in Istanbul, service at the highest possible level, everything clean, wonderful breakfast, rooms very quiet. Amazing view from the room as well, overall unforgettable experience, you are treated as well as you have a feeling that people who work there are really enjoying the job and simple humans interactions on a daily basis. We have booked this hotel last minute in the middle of the night due to the missed flight and they were so full of compasion and offered it to us for their usual fair price, not overpriced as you can often experience in another hotels when they know you have nowhere to go. We are really grateful that we have found this place and will definitely stay there when visiting Istanbul in the future. Thank you so much for everything!

Thoroughly loved my stay at this properly. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure the guests are satisfied with their stay. Their hospitality definitely made me feel like home. The breakfast is also great with a good spread.
I’d also like to mention Mr. Osman (the cat), who is always present at the property and is fun to play with, which adds a special touch to the property :)

A tiny road leads you past lighting shops full of chandeliers to a clean modern hotel. The room is compact but immaculate! Comfy bed and great shower get you ready for an expansive Turkish breakfast and Istanbul awaits!

Excellent staff, a family run business with attention to detail. Kind and helpful always. The room we had was 501 with unbelievable panoramic views of the old city. Thanks to Ahmed and his team. Without a doubt one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. And not to mention Osman the resident cat who spent a couple of hours with us.

Very nice accommodation! The price is good! Food is traditional turkish breakfast! The coffee bar has a lot of types of coffees! The room is small but all you need! Clean room! The hosts are really friendly and ready to help you with anything you ask! Really good location Also!

Fantastic hotel on a quiet street very near to Galata tour and Galataport, run by brothers that are very attentive to every need. Mr. Osman (the resident cat) is the best security guard and very cute front desk attendant. He even visited our room for a nap and petting! Try the lemonade from the cafe downstairs, super fresh and delicious. The room is comfortable and the showers have excellent water pressure and hot water. The view from our room made us never want to leave the balcony!

If I could will give 6 stars. An excellent hotel with the best staff ever beginning with the big boss Osman the cat. Ali is the most sweet and attentive, Mohamed is also very kind and helpful. We are very pleased with the service, food was excellent and is near to the Galata tower and the train station to go around the city. Thank you Ahmed for all the tips and the taxi service you arrange for us. We felt like at home!!! PS if you looking for a super size room is not the place, but if you looking for something cozy and comfortable this is the place to stay. By the way they celebrate my husband’s birthday!!

Very much recommended. The location is perfect for all sights, shopping and food. The view is great and in the morning you are greeted with an amazing breakfast including tuskish specialities and some recommendations of the team. What stood out was the hospitality of Muhammad and his team.

Our stay at Doruk Palas was exceptional. A small boutique hotel run by the most inviting staff and owner. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the atmosphere of the hotel made for such a pleasant stay. Ahmet, the owner, had great recommendations for us and always answered our questions. Shaheen, Ahmed, Mohamed, and Amir (both of them!) were some of the staff we dealt with the most and they were fantastic, helpful and welcoming, and never left us needing anything. The hotel is also very very clean, located in a beautiful area that is near by everything you need - especially the metro and tram stations. We can't recommend it enough. Special mention to the best employee at any hotel we've ever stayed at - Osman Bey. Thank you for your hospitality Ahmet, and creating a home away from home for all travellers. See you next time!

Mr. Osman and his team prepared a friendly and comfortable place for the guests. The attitude of the staff is excellent, the rooms are very clean and the hotel and its service and breakfast are excellent. It is very close to the water and 10 minutes away from Esteghlal Street. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Excellent service and attention to detail. Ahmet upgraded me for free to the balcony, which has a gorgeous view of the old city. Ali was very helpful in giving me tips for sightseeing and helping me arrange a cab to the airport. An absolute steal considering the price and would definitely book again.

When we were looking for a hotel, it was very important to us that it was central, clean and safe. We booked our room without any problems and it was quick and easy. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed with tea and coffee. The staff was very very friendly. You could also communicate without any problems. The staff could speak English very well and clearly, which is very beneficial for all the tourists who come to Istanbul. It was my birthday a few days ago and I was congratulated belatedly and received a small present which made me very happy. One thing that made the hotel very loving is that it is very animal friendly. Osman the Manager was also part of the team. Very friendly towards strangers. He liked coming to visit us and wanted to play or be petted. The room was clean and there was also free water. The hotel is very central. As a farewell, we received a small gift. Before my departure, the hotel manager arranged a taxi for me. I could have a relaxed breakfast in the morning without any stress. I arrived at the airport very safely, and I didn't have to pay an extra cent; it went exactly as planned.– once again, thank you! You are a fantastic team, and there is no aspect to complain about. Overall, we really liked it, so we would book a room in Doruk Palas Hotel again next time. Thank you for the wonderful time

Stayed here in October for 4 days while I spent two weeks traveling Turkey. This place was magnificent, all expectations were met and exceeded. Very friendly staff whose spoke English made me feel welcome and safe in Istanbul! This is the only hotel I will stay in when I come back to Istanbul!

We had the most beautiful hospitality in the hotel! The rooms are amazing with a great view! The owners are so friendly and helped us with everything! It was the best choice!

Will give this hotel more than 5 stars ! They deserve 10 stars. ⭐ ! The boss is an awesome gentleman , took great care of us throughout the entire journey and even lend us his personally transport card when we didn’t know where to get one . He is really a life savior . Gave us a keychain souvenir during our last day . His staff Ali is attentive and helpful as well . Even the owner pet cat is so adorable . Will definitely recommend this hotel if you ever visit Istanbul . Thank you so much 😊 we have a pleasant stay !

We would like to thank Mr. Osman from the bottom of our hearts for his wonderful hospitality. We felt like we were really at home with our family. This hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay in Istanbul! It was clean and comfortable and in a nice, quiet part of town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and had great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to eat at. The breakfast was delicious and everyone felt safe with Osman the security cat keeping watch. I highly recommend this hotel!
