Ural Ataman Classic Car Museum

The cars are absolutely brilliant.It’s like a journey back into time,impressive.

Very very impressive place. This private collection is opened for visitors for only 10 lire. There is smell of history. Really good condition of cars. And the most important thing that all cars are working and ready to drive.

This place is something that you would never expect, it was a great experience for such a small price (20 TL), lots of classic cars that you see only in movies, a very nostalgic place, great music, bikes and old machines, tools and accessories, the place is not really big but i took my time appreciating every single car, the only bad thing is that it is open only 3 days a week, and even it is far from the city center, there are multiple ways to get there in like 30-40 minutes.

Very nice museum! Such a pitty that is a little bit faraway from the city and not as much known. It really worth the visit and the atmosphere is very very nice

10 stars! But owner should think about moving the museum closer to the center. It took more than 1 hour to get to the museum from the Aksaray station. Anyhow, awesome collection in great condition. Cheap tickets (5TL). Good luck!

There are two classic car museums in Istanbul, Rahmi Koç museum and Ural Ataman classic car museum. The first one is actually a technology museum with cars part of it. The second one is wholly cars.
Ural Ataman museum's collection is quite rich, comprising mostly of classic American cars.
Each car is meticulously finished, perfectly maintained.
The stars of the collection, from my perspective, are the Mercedes Benz Gullwing, Porche 356 convertible and the Cadillac convertible.
Entrance fee is very negligeble. The only downside is the location. The building is located on the outskirts of Sariyer, about 1 hrs drive from Central İstanbul.
This is a must see place for all car enthusiasts.

Weird how this collection was all set up in a country that you rarely see american cars “cadillacs all over the place” nicest collection in istanbul ! Must visit and meet the owner !!! Wonderful man ...

We loved the place! The collection is amazing, the interior is well thought trough and cool, and even the music they play is great :) totally recommended, despite the unfortunate location.

Top attraction for classic car lovers. Cheap entrance tickets and very helpful staff. Highly enjoyed my visit and would like to go there again.

Very impressive collection of cars and motorcycles, they are all restored to original specification, professionally maintained, and driven weekly. The Lincoln Continental and the Dodge Cornet were two of my favorites because you normally don't see them in an automobile museum. There are European cars that I have only seen pictures of. If you are a car enthusiast you won't be disappointed.
