Joshua's Hill

Absolutely breathtaking place.
Beautiful garden area as you walk in to the compound of this place.
The final resting place of the prophet Joshua (Yushaa)
With a small cemetery beside it and right next to it is the Masjid of Yushaa which is very small but absolutely wonderful and peaceful.
There is also a large area with benches where people can relax and enjoy the stunning view.
WC also available as well an area to perform ablution.
As you leave the compound there are a few shops where you can purchase souvenirs and also grab a bite to eat. A few fruit vendors too.
This place is up a very high hill.

This was truly one of the most beautiful places I visited.
I would highly recommend visiting this place if you are visiting Istanbul.

Definitely worth a visit, plenty of history & a great view of the Bosporus.

It's really a wonderful place. I was surprised why people not come here as a tourist. I am suggesting for all Istanbul tourist must visit this place. Prophet Yusha's grave is located here and a Mosque also here. No need of any ticket.

This place is amazingly superb, cool and Relaxing.
Our prophet Yuša is resting in this place you can really feel the peace.
My recommendation to everyone visiting Istanbul should visit this place and take the blessing and feel the peace, I am sure you will feel the same not returning back.
This place has all public facility available near and clean.
There are few souvenir shop available couple of restaurants as well to fulfill your need.
Scenery is awesome from to the top and on the drive way as well.

Must see place when visiting Istanbul. HZ. YUSA A.S. place for Zarathustra

A pilgrimage site, perfectly peaceful with good descriptions both in turkish and english. WC is clean and free. Some shops outside. The mosque itself is old and small. The walk down to the nearest village (with more buses) is all downhill and a good way to get away from all the cars on the main road, and catch some gorgeous views.

This is the shrine of Joshua hill. A very peaceful and religious place with amazing history. The tomb (which is very long) is said to have the prophet joshua and that back then, people were so long. A little before the place, people can buy a sheep for the offerings as i understood. Very nice place to visit.

Nice views around the hill .. Giants grave is an experience to walk around to see how big he was is awesome ..

Filled with spiritual ambiance, very peaceful and serene. Highly recommended! Beautiful mosque and decent toilet/wudu facilities. Free parking which is a bonus!

It was a fabulous religious experience. The facilities was very good. The area is green and hilly where Joshua's hill is located. People of surroundings are very simple and nice.

This place is popular with the name of hazrat yousha AH. Quite peaceful place and thier is masjid as well with all basic facilities.

Joshua's Hill, a hill located on the Anatolian shore of Bosporus in Beykoz district of Istanbul, Turkey is a shrine containing a mosque and a tomb dedicated to Joshua. The sacred place, 180 to 195 meters above sea level, is also an important landmark for vessels coming from the Black Sea.
