Belgrad Forest in Istanbul is a peaceful getaway with a beautiful dam and lots of greenery. My partner and I had a great time walking around, enjoying the nice views, and having a picnic. We also liked seeing the friendly stray cats and dogs wandering around. It's a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature without going to far from the city.

Such a wonderful place to walk in nature. Saw turtles, woodpecker, wild boar and dogs. Has picnic tables so bring your own food and drinks. Easy to get to by public transportation.

This forest is beyond beautiful! You can go hiking, feed the ducks / fish/ turtles ! Magnificent flowers. The only problem was that foods and drinks aren’t allowed, and there’s no restaurants or grocery stores or anything inside. Only water is allowed.

An excellent forest to escape and relax. Make sure you have all your barbecue equipments and you are ready for a great time. It is an amazing place. Enjoy nature at its best.

Its the huge territory with several ponds, they are natural water reservoir for Istanbul. Nature is amazing, its clean and you can choose different pathway every visit. People do trekking, walk with dogs and kids, ride bicycles and bikes, camping and fishing.

Amazing place that is comforting and with fresh air. Loved it! It is great for picnics with your family and friends as you can find a lot of tables all over the forest. In addition, there's a playground for kids.

Belgrade forests are located in Istanbul, close to the Sisli and Kilos regions, twenty kilometers from the city center.

The forests of Belgrade Istanbul contain picturesque places and landmarks that allow the tourist to diversify his activities in them. In Belgrade Istanbul, you can enjoy watching and photographing many types of animals, reptiles and wild birds, and you can enjoy wandering in eleven parks included in the forest area, containing the rarest local and international plant species and roses. It is also possible to go around by bike or horseback riding, or camping and eat a delicious meal of barbecue in the fresh air. There are also activities suitable for children, such as games, and there are many places to sit, bathrooms, and places for outdoor fitness.

The forest was HUGE and there are buses that you can go there with easily! It's a bit far so when I arrived it was dark and i couldn't see much, but the forest is magnificent and there is of course security in it to ensure safety. Recommended to go visit and take your picnic pack with u.

I like this forest, but there are no restaurants or grocery.

Parking is good and almost always available, enterance cost is cheap.

There's a child-friendly playground located near the scenic dam area, offering the best views. At the entrance, you'll find a well-maintained restroom, as well as several others throughout the area. While there are some stray dogs present, they generally don't bother people, and the forest is welcoming to dogs. You'll discover numerous picnic spots, but be sure to check for suitability at the entrance, as barbecues are prohibited in the nearest one to the entrance. For convenient transportation, bus 42HM operates between M2 Hacıosman metro and Beglrad Forest approximately every 20 minutes, running from 6 AM until 11:30 PM. You can find the forest map at the entrance of the forest.

I went with my family and we enjoyed the nature and beauty of this forest. Very calm and quiet place and very fresh air.

Beautiful nature, long walking area 6 km around the lake.

A really beautiful place worth visiting over any extended stay in the city. With a variety of scenery, from bodies of water, to ancient Ottoman dams, to picnic areas, old bridges, and 'mountains' to climb, Belgrad has something for all outdoors afficianados. While there is a lot of litter (not uncommon in Turkey) which can detract from the experience at times, the rest of the flora and fauna make up for it. When I visited, I saw a queue of brides waiting to take their wedding photos on the first bridge which was perhaps the most interesting thing I've seen in this country so far haha.

Very beautiful place for walking, running , family gathering and photography.
The weather was perfect at july , nice market at the beginning that sells fruits and fresh juice .
Definitely recommend spending some time here .

Beautiful landscapes, peaceful feeling, benches available, quadbikes and mountain bikes available at private shops outside. Very suitable for picnics and camping.

People drive properly here so walking is good as well. I did one hour of walking and an hour of quadbiking. There's a proper paved road for quadbiking and driving

Dirt tracks are present as well but NOT RECOMMENDED you can get stuck there.
