Başakşehir Sopung Kore Restorant

Food was great, ordered a lot to get a taste of everything, the gimbap was okay, corndog was amazing, so was the tonkatsu, teriyaki wings are good, and the sun Yang was okay, even though the picture of it was the picture that got me here. Service was kind, got me the food fast and quick, while the atmosphere of the place was wonderful, with air conditioning that keep you cool especially in the summer heat. Overall if you are looking for a Korean restaurant in Istanbul, this is it!

Sopung Kore is a really good place to come and relax with friends. the food tastes delicious and is very close to the authentic taste that i’ve tried elsewhere. it is spacious and comfortable. the lights aren’t very bright, even during the day which helps you feel relaxed. they offer a great deal of dishes which can often be shared with friends. the portions are rather large and should be shared amongst friends. best to order 3 dishes and split the bill. a great place and kind staff.

Am really thrilled to see diversity in the area ,, am happy that i had the chance to try Korean food and was more that I've expected honestly... I saw a review saying that their noodles are perfect and i would agree with that a hundred percent awesome noodles are served here .. if you love diversity and exploring cultures you'll definitely like the korean culture food and of course they have done it in a way to be little bit closer to culture here ,, another thing to add is that all the food is halal 👍👍👍 recommended

Very satisfied with the quality of the food here. The taste of everything we ordered was simply delicious! We came two days in a row…The noodle dishes were one of the best I’ve ever had! The beef and chicken noodle dishes were superb. Spicy, savoury, sweet and sour. I loved every bite and would highly recommend! The crispy chicken ball tenders are a must as well. Every table had some on it, seems like a hit with everyone.

The kimchi is a bit more more sour than the ones I’ve had before, but added so much zing when eaten with my dish. Soup came out boiling and was wonderful. Come a bit earlier as they can take a bit to get the food depending on customers. The amount of complex flavours and umami goodness is simply too good to explain. If you love Asian food, or Korean in specific, you would love this place! So so so very satisfied. Yum!!

Delicious Korean food. We had the spicy chicken, mandu and three noodle dishes. Everything tasted good.

Noodles and the chicken were on the really spicy end, so if you are not used to real got spicy, order something mild.

My favorite was the spicy, sorry chicken. It was crispy, yet soft and juicy. I recommend ordering plain rice with it to balance the spice.

We have been coming here since 2019 and i always take my lil sister whenever it is her birthday and I must say they have never dissapointed us at all..the staff is always excellent and the food is fantastic . I prefer this branch better over the one in Fatih .
We will be coming here more often .

Very authentic Korean food. I almost tried all of their menu and they were almost all awesome. Prices can be slightly higher than your average kebab restaurants but they are really good. I live on abroad and i cant find such a good Bibimbap all over Europe. Hope they will manage to keep this nice restaurant open in Basaksehir.

The food is really good but there’s a lot of flys

The place was very quiet, we were the only ones. That might put off people from coming but since we have tried their food from their Sulukule branch in Fatih, we decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. We liked most of all the things we ordered. The only thing we didnt like was the Japchae as the konjac noodles in it were tough and too chewy to eat. We loved the rice ball and the Bibimbap the most. The Bone soup was also not bad. The Kimchi was so flavorful that we bought some to bring home! Don't forget also to try their teas. We tried a milky based one (i forgot the name) and there was some sunflower seeds in it.

At the Asian-food desert country, there is a Korean restaurant 🥺🥺🥺. Taste is better than most of Korean restaurants in Istanbul..price is reasonable.

Tasty, fresh, clean authentic. Wish there will be more choice in menu soon.
