I regret to say that my experiences have been consistently disappointing, raising serious concerns about their parcel handling and customer service standards.

My first encounter with PTT's subpar service involved the delivery of a musical instrument from abroad. I expected that such a delicate item, a harp in this case, would be handled with utmost care, preferably transported in a dedicated vehicle. To my dismay, the harp was delivered on the back of a scooter, resulting in irreversible damage. This incident was not just a financial loss, but also an emotional one, as the harp held significant personal value.

The second incident, however, was more distressing on a personal level. As a foreign woman, I often rely on clear communication and professional conduct in public dealings. During a recent visit to the PTT office, I encountered a staff member who displayed an unprofessional attitude, seemingly engaging in a power play. When I requested the return of my envelope, he blatantly disregarded my repeated requests, leaving me with no choice but to physically retrieve it from his possession. This experience was not only exhausting but also felt intimidating, undermining my sense of safety and respect in a public service space.

I believe that both incidents highlight a critical need for PTT to reassess and improve its service protocols. Proper training in handling sensitive items and professional customer interaction, especially towards women and foreigners, is imperative. It's disheartening to experience such lapses in service from a reputed establishment.

In conclusion, these experiences have severely impacted my trust in PTT's services. I hope this feedback prompts necessary changes, ensuring that future customers do not have to endure similarities

Additionally, PTT Heybeliada wanted to charge me around 800TL for sending a parcel abroad with tracking. The same service at PTT Büyükada was approximately 330TL

Lastly, it’s needed to be said that only half of the parcels that should be delivered to my home actually are. Usually I have to come down to the post office and collect them. Sometimes they say they don’t have any parcels for me and it turns out that they have been sitting in their office for several weeks
