I could live here and never complain. Must must visit in Turkey. The ferry ride was a bit long but absolutely worth it!

See my review of Princes island tour for details. Definitely worth a visit. Grand houses and spectacular views. The monastery is a must see

The boat trip to the Island was fabulous. We enjoyed the scenes and the time in the boat. We returned from the island in the last boat so that we can watch the sunset.
The vibes on the island were so good! We cheered around, you can rent a bike and explore the island! you can find gift shops, restaurants, and coffee shops in the area.
We ended our visit by eating ice cream and cheering up!

Perfect place for a daily getaway. Came here with my group of friends and now they are so happy but tired because of the hike and cycle up the hill. Will often come back for hiking and more activities to be done here.

It was 11th July 2019. The day was beautiful as any July day in Istanbul. Actually it rained in early morning. Our boat was on time and we set off to one of the scenic place I could've ever seen. I've heard a lot of stories related to Princess Island but by going there and feel the ambiance was something so spiritual. The boat trip to the Island was fabulous. We enjoyed the scenes and the time in the boat. There was love karoake and a band performing music in different languages (they sang 🇵🇰 songs as well). We danced, my eldest kid was super excited.

The moment we landed on Buyukada, I was overwhelmed by the beauty and cleanliness of island. Visited Adalar bazaar and had lunch there. It was a very busy day and bazaar was jam-packed with tourists. I rented a bicycle to roam around the island while my wife and kids went to the play area located just beside dock. While cycling, I kept falling in love with the nature and mesmerising views. Also the residents there have kept it CO2 free by commuting solely on cycles or horse riding.
We took horse riding afterwards which was unique in its own way. Loved every bit of my time spent at this beautiful island.
While we were returning to our boat, a dog accompanied us. We were skeptical at first but the boat management told us that it's okay and let the dog on-board; they'll take care of him.
We were provided food while traveling in boat and the staff was super friendly. Daughter of one female staff became friend of my 3 y/o and both enjoyed their time together.
We were so tired after coming back to Istanbul Bosphorus that we took taxi instead of using Metro bus which was costly even after bargaining but we had to. Went to the bed immediately after reaching hotel and skipped dinner.
I would highly recommend everyone to take Princess Island tour while their stay in Istanbul.

Prince Island, also known as Büyükada, is a beautiful and charming island located just off the coast of Istanbul, Turkey. What makes this island so special is its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, which is a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

One of the most unique aspects of Prince Island is that there are no cars allowed on the island, which makes it an ideal place for walking, biking, or simply enjoying a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride. The island is also home to a number of beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters, making it the perfect destination for swimming and sunbathing.

In addition to its natural beauty, Prince Island is steeped in history and culture. The island was once a popular destination for Byzantine royalty, and it is home to a number of stunning historical landmarks, including the Aya Yorgi Church and Monastery, the Hamidiye Mosque, and the Prinkipo Greek Orphanage.

Overall, Prince Island is a truly magical place that offers visitors a unique combination of natural beauty, rich history, and peaceful tranquility. It is no wonder that it has become such a beloved destination for both locals and tourists alike.

The trip took 45 minutes for the first island with a big ferry ⛴ and it cost per person less than 30 Tl , make sure to buy Istanbul card from the tram or train station. Kids less than 4 years are free

A must visit place while in Istanbul. The distance is about 1 hour by ferry. A peaceful and exotic small town. Even though it is an island of tourist attractions, the prices of goods sold are very reasonable. The scenery around the island is beautiful, and the atmosphere on the island is really pleasant. To explore the island, it's best to look for a vehicle rental, but exploring on foot is even more fun.

Every time I visit Istanbul I make my way over to Büyükada. Pleaee go past that first burst of capitalism when you get to the port and make you way up to the woods. On your way there, you will see the most beautiful homes that remind you of a place that only exists in your soul. I am not sure why I feel so at home there, but I do. The woods, fresh air, the views, the energy of the island is pure joy.

If you are in Istanbul don't miss the chance to visit this island. Ferries are available from Dolmabache port every hour for 50 TL. It's amazingly beautiful, much more clear and peaceful than the city. Don't miss going to the top, to the Aya Yorgi Church and to see the majestic view. You can take a bike, but the last part of the road is extremely hilly, so keep this in mind. Definitely recommend the place!

It is a nice secluded island, I suggest you walk around it very slowly. With electric cars, you can't see the beautiful atmosphere and the beautiful houses. I suggest you buy from nearby restaurants, especially if you are a tourist because they are very expensive.

This is a must!
Traveling through history from the old Byzantium to this island where religious objective, retreat villas, beaches and history are to be found.
Also other elites from Istanbul have benefited the outstanding views and the tranquility provided by the island.
Can be reached by ferry for as less as 23 liras (if you opt for the public network).
Can be explored by foot or cycling.
Has places to eat and plenty souvenirs.

One of the most beautiful islands, 2h by ferry from Istanbul. Amazing trip to here, its biggest from the couple of others islands on the way from Istanbul. Its popular because no cars you can see just horse-drawn carriages. So quite islands with georgeous houses. There is also national park and very nice sunset you can see from there🥰

One of a beautiful islands in Istanbul that you can enjoy and it was easy to reach by boat. There is online schedule that you can check on internet. Well its so lovely and colorful from many angles even when you are riding a Hantou or riding bicycles. There are many places with good vibes to chill and enjoy eating an ice cream, or having some brunch. Walking able to wandering on the beach. The beach is beautiful for the forest and the calmness that you can not imagine. I am so glad there was no cars overall i guess like you can even count, almost non-existent. This islands is great for people who likes riding a bicycles with the forest and ocean's view of this island.
