During our weekend trip to Turkey, we had the pleasure of visiting the Beylerbeyi Palace, and it was nothing short of magical. Despite it being a busy weekend, we were pleasantly surprised that the queue to enter was only about 10 minutes long. A handy tip for future visitors: the Museum Card is accepted here, which makes entry both convenient and cost-effective.

The palace itself is a marvel of architecture and history, beautifully preserved and presented. Every room and corridor tells a story, transporting you back to the era of sultans and grandeur. The attention to detail in the design and decorations is astounding, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Turkey.

Situated near the sea, Beylerbeyi Palace offers breathtaking views that are a treat for the eyes. The palace's location allows visitors to enjoy the serene beauty of the waterside, adding a tranquil backdrop to the opulent architecture. It's a great spot for photography enthusiasts or anyone looking to capture a piece of Istanbul's historical beauty.

In summary, our visit to Beylerbeyi Palace was an unforgettable experience. The combination of great architecture, rich history, and stunning sea views makes it a must-visit destination. Whether you're a history buff, architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for a beautiful place to explore, Beylerbeyi Palace will not disappoint. Highly recommended!

A very historic and glorious place. I advise you to ask for the automatic hearing aid (the receptionist can set it to any language preference)
No photography is allowed inside
For the best experience, get with you the normal earphones so you can plug it in the hearing aid which they provide so you don’t stay all the tour holding the hearing aid with your hand to your ear.

One of best Ottoman Castles on the Asian site.. A must visit if you love Istanbul's Asian side.. The castle is not very big.. 1-2 hours is enough... Very beautiful rooms and architecture.. The price is 200 TL for each Person.. A good view on Bosphorus is stunning...

A beautiful palace of the Ottoman Empire. I recommend you to buy an audio phone at the entrance which explains every room of the palace. I would love to go back in time and live in this palace. It is also said that even Atatürk spent a night here.

Amazingly beautiful!!!! The front was being renovated so we had to enter from the back. They make you wear shoe protection so u wont damage the inside. Tickets are not that expensive. Also there was not a lot of people in line. Its beautiful and worth the visit! (Also there is parking next to the mansion. Very easy in and out.

the Beylerbeyi Sarayı (Beylerbeyi Palace) was commissioned by Sultan Abdülaziz to act as an imperial summer residence. With 24 rooms, 6 halls, and a hamam, it would have been quite the summer home and was also used to entertain visiting dignitaries
That is soo beautiful 😍
Some of the furniture, such as the dining chairs in the harem and selamlik, were carved by Sultan Abdülhamit II during the six years he was imprisoned here until he died in 1918.

After her stay in 1869, Empress Eugénie was so impressed with what she saw when she stayed here in 1869, that she had the windows copied in the Tuileries Palace in Paris.

I recommend going alone and not with tour guides. they won’t let you take your time . They give you a remote like device that tells you what every room is and it’s history it comes in various languages.I love the way they narrate what every room is for. I prefer it over listening to a tour guide talking because you can repeat it .

This palace belongs to the Ottoman kings and was built in the 19th century. This palace was designed by a very famous architect of Turkish descent named Sarkis Balian and was built by the order of Sultan Abdul Aziz, one of the famous Ottoman kings. White marble stones have been used in the construction of this palace, and eastern and Turkish designs have been used for the interior decoration of this palace, while western decorations have been used for its interior equipment.
This palace has spectacular gardens and exquisite works from the period of Ottoman kings, which has been turned into a museum, and everyone can visit it and enjoy it to the fullest. I suggest you, dear tourist, if you travel to the city of Istanbul, Turkey, you must visit this palace museum, and you need about 3 to 4 hours to visit this palace museum.

I was truly captivated by the beauty and design of it. The intricate stone walls and elegant archways showcased impeccable craftsmanship. Inside, the blend of opulence and historical charm was mesmerizing. I stumbled upon a cozy coffee shop with a stunning view of the Bosphorus, offering a perfect moment of relaxation. This castle is an enchanting must-visit, embodying history and serenity in one place.

A nice place to calm down at the beach front. Garden ticket was 15 TL and 200 TL for the palace. Photography isn't allowed in the palace itself.

It's a little bit crowded for taking photos on weekends, but there's a very beautiful mansion and a wonderful scene of European side, mosques and bridges 💯

Well organised , not crowded. Ticket price is reasonable. The furniture is well preserved.Unfortunately taking photos inside is not allowed and large part of the garden is closed for visitors. Having a drink and or a snack at the cafeterias there is very relaxing. I enjoyed every minute there.

I enjoyed my time being in this place, the nice thing is you can buy the ticket to visit the park only in case you don't want to visit the palace! The view from the park is perfect! The only thing I didn't like is you can't take any picture inside the palace which is very weird because the internet is full of photos and videos of that palace!!
But overall it's highly recommended 👌

I prefer this palace to Topkapi. Short wait at the entrance due to security checks. Beautiful garden around the palace, lovely walk by the bosphorus with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus bridge. On entering the palace shoe covers are provided. Not allowed to take photos or videos inside. Beautiful decorated halls, living quarters suitable for the sultan and his family.

A must to see!!! The Beylerbeyi Palace, located at the Asian side of the Bosphorus, is an Imperial Ottoman summer residence built between 1861 and 1865. It was the last place where Sultan Abdulhamid II was under house arrest before his death in 1918. It provides magnificent views over the strait, the bridge and both the Asian and European coasts. Spot 1 h to explore and enjoy the beauty of the palace. Unfortunately, taking photos is not allowed inside the building. Highly recommended!!!
