Tried the Kokoretsi for 1st time, taste amazing lol, the mussels also wonderful

Really tasty. We bought a bucket (50pcs) to take home. We were also offered 2 free pieces to try out at the place.

Brilliant Food very tasty as snack
The founder has done a great job branding the place
Wish he could have been trying to built a big branch with a good sitting area
Prices are reasonable considering the fact that its a snack or appetizer.
If you go for it as food you would order a 50 pieces Minimum 😂

If you love mussels then don’t bother go anywhere else but here. I wanted to try this place after i watch a video on youtube. And this place didn’t disappoint me at all. The customer service was great even tho there was a little communication lack. But food was amazingly good and prices were reasonable

I came to this place based on a friend's recommendation... the recommendation was actually amazing!
The mussels are stuffed with rice, and they make the kokorich in sandwiches... everything tasted amazingly good, they provide you with gloves to keep your hands clean.
Service was excellent, staff were friendly as well.
Price is super good!
Overall, highly recommend... i will come back if I have time!

The one of the best places to eat this kind and f Turkish mussels with rice…I have tried 50 mixed pieces ( classic and spicy 🌶 one) it was delicious but I liked the spicy one more….the place is always crowded Although the restaurant is having 3 floors … the service was very good but waters are speaking Turkish only..
My overall rating is 9.5/10…I strongly recommend for any one is traveling to Istanbul….

This place is worth to be visited. I was never a fan of mussels before, but after tasting what they have I have been obsessed ever since. Every time I visit Istanbul I must eat at Midyeci Ahmet. His mussels are absolutely delicious and that lemon that they’re served with adds so much flavour to the dish. Keep up the great work guys!

We ordered the regular and the spicy. The spicy we’re our favorite! They also give you gloves if you want, felt silly but honestly everyone including locals were wearing them. Would definitely come again. Keep your eyes open, you might see the Lord of Mussels himself, he’s very friendly and took a picture with us.

Very nice...perfect...and most importantly prices are fixed, food is clean and hygienic, toilets are clean.
However yes the prices are not low but those are cooked mussels with spicy sauce and rice and closed up with too little holes so that you can easily open them with your fingers

Open till late and serves the famous stuffed mussells, with or without sauce , both are good to try.

I highly recommend you to try it, If you want to try media or kokoreç , this is the right place. This branch in Ortaköy area is very special and very very delicious.

Go for the Kokoreç (Just Wonderful) amazing taste and well seasoned.
The mussels are juste okey, nothing special .. too much rice.

Medyeci Ahmed is considered one of the different restaurants in providing medye with sauce, and this branch is one of the places that he frequents every time as well in terms of dealing and taste.

One of the best meal I had in Turkey. We took the ferry from Eminonu just to reach this place as we were staying in Sultanahmet area. But it was all worth it.

Their stuffed mussels is the real deal. One mussel for 1.75tl, you can buy in the small, medium, or big bucket. You can dine there, queue for the table and order or do what we did which order for take away and eat just around the place (they actually have like a standing table where you can enjoy your mussels).

The stuffed mussels have rice inside it, it's fresh, it's so satisfying. Would love to come back more!

P.S : don't forget to try their kokorec as well.

Our first time trying stuffed mussels. Super great especially the spicy ones. We met the owner who was friendly. This place deserves higher than a 4.0!

First you think it’s not your taste, then, after the first bite, you can’t stop yourself from ordering more and recommending your friends to come there.
Try the spicy, try it fresh and hot.
And enjoy!

We were 4 people and we ate 150 pieces (normal & with spicy sauce).
It is so yummy 😋 that when you start the first piece you continue eating and eating 🍽.
