The boat ride to the tower is nice. The tower is impressive since it has a history behind it. My advice is visit in good weather so you can sit by the sea for a cup of coffee also.

Maiden's Tower (Kız Kulesi) is a small tower on a small island at the southern entrance to the Bosphorus, about 200 meters from the coast of Uskudar in Istanbul.
It was said about the reason for its construction, that there was a sultan who loved his daughter very much, and he had a dream that on his daughter’s eighteenth birthday, she would be bitten by a snake and take her life. The father did not find a way to protect his daughter except to keep her away from dry land, as he blocked part of the Bosphorus Strait, and built a tower for her in an attempt to eliminate the possibility of any snake reaching her.

I wish I had some time to enjoy a nice dinner at the restaurant. The setting is amazing and the views are breath taking. It was a little crowded when i was here but it is worth it. The boat ride is less than 10 minutes and the rooftop is very cool. The views are amazing and very romantic. Take your significant other to enjoy it even better.

It’s a great place, especially for a romantic walk at the Bosporus. Looks great at night from Asian side looking at the tower whilst across Bosporus you see all the sightseeing highlights. I don’t recommend the restaurant. Although it is a nice experience to be taken by boat and the interior is nice, the food is below average for a high price. Very sad, as its just focusing on tourists and do not serve the service and food experience, a romantic dinner deserves.

A place accessible by boat, on the Asian side. You don't have to wait a long time for your transportation because the boats go and come back every 10-15 minutes.
A pleasant location.

A cute, small lighthouse/tower on a Mini-Island. Good to see in a sunny day, but don't go if it's clowded or rainy. Try to observe it from the shore, there are some cafes with a nice view. Be careful: don't fall for tourist traps, check your coffee prices beforehand!

This is my favourite sight in Istanbul. It’s beauty is tremendous and watching it from the Asian side of Istanbul is so serene and peaceful.
To get there you take a cute little boat from Uskudar which takes you onto the little island of the tower in the middle of the Bosphorous. From the tower you can get an amazing 360 degree view of Istanbul whilst enjoying nice cuisine at the restaurant in the tower. There is also an opportunity to dress up as an ottoman sultan and get to learn some history and the myths regarding this tower. The tower it self is a gorgeous piece of architecture! This is not to be missed in Istanbul!

this is one of the most favoured Touristic spot at İstanbul city..Breathtaking bosphorus view at both sides. Restaurant and Cafe are a lill pricy. You pay a fee to get in the boat and arrive to tower which will last 2 minutes. Basement level was used as dungeon in the past now its Restaurant part. its a good spot for taking pictures especially at sun set if you had the opportunity to visit at those times..

Kiz Kulesi a beautiful piece of history in the heart of the Bosphorus. You'll get there by using a little ferryboat and nowadays this tower is a restaurant where once an Ottoman Sultan locked up his daughter according to what the legend says.
When you look at Kiz Kulesi from the shore, you'll see Aya Sofia on the left and the Blue Mosque on the right, way in the back, a beautiful sight.
Whenever in Istanbul... definitely worth your visit.
