This place had the best shish wraps I've ever eaten! The service was very fast, and not too pricey. It is located pretty close to lots of touristy places. You have to at least try some of their food, I promise you won't regret it!

Cash only! No card. It’s a tiny corner place with limited seating. The chicken wings are divine. All the meat here is high quality and perfectly cooked. It’s well known because Bourdain ate here.

me and my husband went here twice this week because we’re so IN LOVE with their Adana, once I tried plate Adana its SO GOOD and I tried Adana Wrap its also as delicious 🥺🥺💗

next time visit İstanbul I definitely will come back here.. it’s just the BEST Adana I have ever eat in my life. 🥹💗🇹🇷

ps: the place is soo small so I recommend come outside rush hour so you can dine in and get seated. pay with CASH only. 🇹🇷

As a Turkish person this is one of the best dürüms I got if not the best. I tried the ciger and the adana. Both of them are very good but the Adana is just so goood.
The bread has this nice crisp but not brittle. The adana meat has a good fat ratio so it fries in the grill with its own fat and has this crisp and spiciness.
The bread is not thick so you can taste the ingredients better.
The "tablaci salad" with onions and the parsley tops the whole thing.

This is the most traditional dürüm you can get and it is very affordable given the location.

My only negative feedback is when I went the cook was arguing with someone and the language was not appropriate to use with customers inside but I guess its a part of the drill.

Food is great. If you meat lover - this is your place. Oven baked beef, chicken and liver plus fresh veggies with herbs. And if you are vegetarian, you can eat veggie and cheese wrap - nothing is impossible :) unless you want to pay by card ;) but it shouldn’t be opstacle if you want to grab some decent food, in the same spot Anthony Bourdin has his Istanbul stop

The place has a hype as Anthony Bourdain featured it some time ago. Menu is easy, the joint is small, the vibe is traditional and the quality of the meat (chicken in my case) was extremely high. Cooked to perfection my dürüm was excellent.
Be aware that only cash is accepted.

Stumbled onto this little spot and so glad I did. Food was fantastic, prices were reasonable and service was excellent. We ordered a large mixed grill, few lentil soups, everything was so delicious. All the meat was grilled to perfection, lentil soup was super tasty as well. Need I say more? I’ll definitely be back again before I leave Istanbul.

During our visit to Istanbul, my son chanced upon this small joint on the net where the late Anthony Bourdain ate. So, we visited this small and unique dürüm place and boy it was fabulous ! I gave up beef almost 15 years and yet I tried the traditional adana dürüm and a chicken/tuvak. Slow grilled over charcoal and wrapped on a paratha like Dürüm, it is absolutely stunning ! If you are in Istanbul, you got to try. V friendly folks as well.

10/10 amazing!! I imagined it would be more busy/touristy but it was a lot less than expected and the wraps were still phenomenal. We had all three, the lamb, lamb/beef mix, and the chicken. The lamb is the best by far, so juicy and flavorful- a must try!

CASH ONLY so please have some when dining here. There’s a ATM about a 3-4mins walk away. Anthony Bourdain visited this place so it’s a little famous. A platter for 2 cost about 900 liras. Food is good, but it’s off the touristy area and there are actually many decent kebab places around the main city area that has just as decent food.

Wow!!! This place is as good as advertised by some YouTube. While you do have to wait a bit for your food, you can see why as they made each one in a small charcoal grill cooking area, with only 1 person cooking. But the wait is totally worth it, as the grilled meat kebab is just PERFECT!!

No frills cash only spot. I had the adana dürüm during the afternoon. It was tremendous. I will always put sumac on onions from now on. Totally understand why uncle Tony would like this. (Visited in April 2023, cash only sign was clearly visible)

Probably the best adana wrap in Taksim. Prices are also good. Long queue at day time so best time to go there is at night after 7 pm

*DONT LEAVE THE CITY WITHOUT TRYING THE ADANA WRAP*
I noticed that this spot was visited by the respected Anthony Bourdain (my he rest in peace). so i put it on my list
we left the hamam starving and just happened to be 15 minutes from it so we stopped for dinner. good thing we did because they ran out of bread so we were the last order.
we had the adan wrap (150 TL!)and salad the first time. AMAZING! the flavor is not like any other kebab i've had. we tried to order 2 more to go but they had no more bread.
when we returned to istanbul a week later we came back and ordered wraps to go. we had the soup, salad and adana wrap.
the salad is dressed with a pomegranate sauce that is made in house *chefs kiss

Best Kebab restaurant of Turkey, Istanbul.
Kebabs were real juicy and tender. I loved this place. However there is a shortage of sitting arrangement so you might have to wait a bit to get a table

Finally, i went to dine here and was not dissappointed. Great vibes, delicious food and affordable. Limited dining space.

So simple and so DELICIOUS!
The very best Adana dürüm I have ever had. A mouthful of flavours, spices, a soft and juicy lamb meat. 10/10.
The staff is also very friendly.

The only better thing there is is to get more than one of these dürüm!

Anthony Bourdain brought us here and we throughly enjoyed it. We got the adana wrap and lamb kebab wrap. The adana was our favourite. I really loved the wrap itself - it was flaky and had a great charcoal flavour. It reminded me of roti.

The staff who work there are super friendly. I’ve given 4 stars for the atmosphere as we sat outside opposite the restaurant and there were a lot of flies around. Regardless, I recommend you come and try out the food - you won’t regret it!
