First meal in Istanbul ! 100% satisfied. The meat, the vegetables, the yogurt… 😋I am excited to explore more about Turkish food. The environment was great and staff was very friendly!

Super cute local spot with super delicious food. Tried a few mezze, the chicken wings and of course some lamb chops! Their grill is firing and on point! Some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had! One thing to note for a tourist, you can smoke inside…i thought this was a bad thing but somehow the place doesn’t really take on a strong smell from the smoke, so it’s all good! I was hardly effected by people smoking around me. SO HAPPY i picked this restaurant for my last night in Istanbul.

The staff, the food, the atmosphere, everything was perfect, definitely recommend it. We had "lamb special" which was tasty, juicy and tender.

Nice traditional Turkish Grill, located on 1st floor - was full of locals, which is normallya good sign. Good selection of dips/starters/salads and the meat selection was excellent.

We went for Liver, Adana kebap, chicken wings, lamb chops and Tavuk Sis...all good.

Friendly service and total bill for 2 adults 1 child was TL 1375

Recommended.

Absolutely fantastic food! The best meal I have eaten in Istanbul. Incredible! Do yourself a favour; avoid the tourist traps and go here instead!

We had lamb chops that were cooked to perfection. I never knew lamb could taste that good!

The servings are generous, prices are fair and the service is exceptional. We were made to feel very welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Pala Ocakbaşı.. Senelerdir eşimle çocuğumla, arkadaşlarımla giderim. Her seferinde aynı kalitede lezzet, aynı kalitede hizmet.. Adana kebabı benim istanbulda yediklerimin arasında en iyisi. Mezeler taze, güzel ve bol. Müzik; sohbetinizi etkilemeyecek şekilde ve mekana uygun. Fiyatlar bence gayet makul. Hiç pişman etmedi sizi de etmez. Şiddetle tavsiye..

90 li yillarda suslu sakli sokaktaki eski yerlerine hemen her pazar gunu giderdik, cok ozel ocakbasi ambiyansi olan, genelde bayanlarin pek gelmedigi, erkek erkege oturup, mac seyrettigimiz guzel gunlerdi, turgut abi iyi mekancidir, musterisini unutmaz ve kollar, cop sis, adana ve salgami cok iyiydi, ezme ve patlican salatasi siparis uzerine yapilir, masaya gelirdi, sonra yurtdisin da yasamaya basladigimdan dolayi, pek gelemez oldum, yeni mekana , istanbula geldigim zamanlar da bir kac sefer gittim, eski ambiyans olmasa da, bunu da anliyabiliyorum( ocakbasi musteri portfoyu degisti cunku, ) izgaralari hala lezzetli, salgami gene cok iyiydi, nacizane tavsiyem franchise olayina girmeyip bu formatta devam etmeleridir, herkese tavsiye ederim, sevgili turgut agabeyin ellerinden operim.

Beyoğlu’ndaki yeni favori ocakbaşım oldu diyebilirim. Michelin yıldızlı fine dining restoran performansı beklemediğiniz sürece mezeler gayet lezzetli, porsiyonları da doyurucu. Böbrek İstanbul’da yediğim en iyilerden biriydi. Küşleme bir tık fazla pişmişti ama yine de çok lezzetliydi. Bir sonraki gidişimde kebaplarını deneyeceğim. Çalışanlar çok kibardı. Servis, ilgi, alaka yerindeydi. Son olarak da fiyatlar günümüz şartlarında gayet uygun. Beyoğlu’nda salaş ocakbaşı arıyorsanız tavsiye ederim.
