Hanedan Restaurant Meat & Fish

This is a wonderful restaurant located right on the water. We stayed at the Conrad Hilton which was just a short walk down towards the river. The first floor is a seafood restaurant with fish so fresh I think they were swimming that morning. Our waiter recommended some Meza small appetizers which were delicious. We added a green salad and tried the local fish. Everything was delicious and the presentations were wonderful.

The next night we ended up back at the restaurant but to try the meat menu which is on the second floor. I tried the lamb and pistachio kebab which was amazing. Others in our group tried the mix grill and the chicken kebab. Everyone really enjoyed their meal.

You can use your credit card to pay for dinner, but tips must be paid in cash. Make sure you have the local currency before arriving at the restaurant.

I would highly recommend coming here anytime you are visiting Istanbul. You will have a wonderful meal and a great view.

We sat outside on a great spring evening with 12 degrred. We had mezes and the beef steak!

I’ve had the best sea bass here. Very fresh and tasty! The staff is professional and the view is amazing. Will definitely go back. This is what you call an upscale seafood restaurant. I’ll look forward to going back and trying other items on their menu.

Such a great experience in Turkey; the food and service were terrific. For some reason finding a place that respects customers is very rare as far as I saw in turkey, but this place was amazing.

Had a great time at Henedan, enjoyed my fish based seafood 🥂🐠🐟 right at the shores of Basforas, while watching boats sailing 🚢⛵.. Good experience overall! 🙏 Price wise it's at the higher end, which you'll find only once you open up the menu 🤩😅😜

Great atmosphere

With an amazing view over the canal, near the ortakoy sea, with hundreds of boats passing and sea gulls taking advantage of the left over, this place offers the best turkish food in all istanbul. I never tried the first floor which offer fish, i usually eat in the second floor on the terrace, order a mixed grill plate, make sure to have the pistachio kebab. And drink a lot of raki. The staff is very friendly and they will love to take photos for you with this beautiful scenary.

Wonderful restaurant! Very cheerful staff, often comes and asks would you want something. Serving is good as well. Delicious fish.

We came to eat here randomly and by far the best food I had so far in istanbul. Kemal our server was so helpful and patient with us. He showed us the proper way to eat the food to enhance the taste. You are lucky is Kemal is your server.
