Nice cafeteria with excellent views of the city. Good for a lunch break with tea, coffee and snacks. You can also take the cable cart from there all the way down.

This is one of the best places and must visit places in Istanbul.
This place is on the hill, which gives you a view of golden horn and area around.
It view is enjoyable during the day and night.
You can have tea and coffee seating on the edge of the hill and enjoy the city view.

Absolutely worth the visit! We just had desserts which was really tasty and finally not super sweet like in usually in Turkey. Turkis caffe was also good!

We been here off season, so we dont needed to wait long for a good sit position. But if you visit in the summer time you have to calculate with the long waiting time. People mostly spend 15-40 min in one table, i dont see nobody to have a lunch or any food. Everyone just get a coffee or cay and shooting pictures and leave.

We came here in the afternoon, there was a long queue until out of the building. We queued for approximately 30 minutes. There are 2 gondolas operated, 1 gondola can accommodate up to 8 people. To get to Peirre Loti, you only need an Istanbul card (which is usually used to take trams, buses or metro). While riding the gondola, we can see views of the city of Istanbul, the Bosphorus Strait, and even the Erdogan mosque which is far away in the Asian side area. It will look even more beautiful at night, the lights of the houses and buildings. We are in the gondola for approximately 15 - 20 minutes. Up to the top, there is a restaurant serving coffee (turkish kahve), tea (cay) and local food. When we came here, we met lots of tourists from Europe, because it was summer holiday season. If you don't want to walk down (because it is quite tiring and can take more than 30 minutes to walk), you can take the gondola again, of course just pay with your Istanbul card. What an extraordinary experience 🤩🤩

Take the tram from Eminuno and stop at Ayup Sultan. This will take you to the Cable Car (Teleferik), you can use your Istanbul Kart to go up. Try to go early to avoid queues. Then visit the tomb of Ayub Al Ansari and the mosque, two minute walk. You will now be in the town square. Lots of places to eat here as well as on top of the mountain. The mountain side is a graveyard that extends as far as the eye can see. This area is known as the Golden Horn. No Ferries go down this route on the Bosphorous.

Nice view of Istanbul city. A great place to spend 1-2 hours.
We went to the cable car point (eyup) by bus. For cable car you can pay using Istanbulkart. 10TL for one way. We went on a Wednesday morning and no waiting time at all for both ways. There is a cafe at the top and a few more small shops.

The reason to visit will be for the magnificent view. Grab a cable car from Eyup to get to the restaurant. Wait time could be long for the cable car ride so do plan ahead. Istanbulkart works for the cable car.

First of all, you MUST Order (Elma çay) .. the Apple tea in here is beyond amazing.
I loved this cafe when it wasn’t crowded, so you can enjoy a calm conversation with a view!
very affordable prices, panoramic view, simple service and it feels like this place already has a soul itself.
I would highly recommend taking the cable car up from Eyup sultan camii and then walking down the hill in your way back.. we had to walk through old graves and I loved it last night!
