Nil Balık Restaurant

Fantastic seafood restaurant. We ordered the seafood platter which was around 320tl (with current exch. rates, this is almost £17). It was delicious and surprisingly large. The picture doesn't do it justice, there was a lot of fish on that plate, plenty for 2 people to share. I wanted to try swordfish so we ordered that too. It did not disappoint, I really enjoyed it. Both dishes came with thinly sliced potatoes which were nice. We also got a complimentary bread to start, with some delicious garlic and chilli dips.

The staff were good but they seemed preoccupied with a large table of what looked like 10 or 12 Turkish business men or mafia! Complete with bodyguards! It was a little intimidating at first... The staff were literally running, bringing them champagne, etc. We asked for our bill but they seemed to forget as 15 minutes later, no bill had arrived, I had to ask for it again. In total, we paid around 500tl for a huge swordfish steak, sea food platter, 2 bottles of Efes plus the complimentary bread and dips. That's around £27. In the UK, quality seafood like this would cost double that!

We had a little cat friend that helped clear up some of our leftovers lol. There are a few cats hovering for scraps which may bother some people. We were OK with it though. This is probably the best seafood restaurant in Marmaris and one of the best I've ever been to. I definitely recommend it.

Oh i loved it.. best fish in town and the food came in great order, they changed our plates 3 times and were very focused and helpful.
A must visit hands down 💙

Very nice and cozy place. I recommend to try oysters here. 1 euro per 1 oysters (july 2018). Very tasty! I love them! Tried before in Italy and Montenegro, but here oysters is a bit different and much much better for my taste. Also always good choice of fresh fish and sea food. Nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We tried it once and ended up coming there twice more during our short 5day stay.
Food is tasty with good portions. Highly recommend getting Meze - would not be disappointed.

Yum! Food was great, staff was amazing ! Feel the authenticity and homie feel, doesn’t look like a busy place in a day time but definitely worth to go in there and have the meal!

About fish on display (tip for turists on budget):
Trust me it's not worth paying 10 times more to ask for fish on display, if you get the standard portion from menu, it's the same quality. (Standard portion is fish from farm, the one on display is hunted ones.)

Absolutely delicious seafood, staff were amazing and attentive. We couldn't ask for more. They made our date so special, lots of laughter. Our second time here. First time in 2019 and the experience was the same. 🤗

Excellent sea food wine service

Not the largest of places, which makes it,one if the best.A all the open place, frequented by Turkish folks which indicates its popular.The food is freshly cooked, fish is supplied locally. Wines are reasonable, service is their priority,and cleanlyness is upmost.Prices are reasonable.
Been here several times. and keep going back.Prawns, fish, chicken, steaks,vegitarian,they cater for all.
Recommend, fish cooked in salt,
Its location is good, after dinner, enjoy marina, or Bar St, its minutes away.

If you are in Marmaris be sure to visit this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Good service, local cuisine and good location. The restaurant is aimed at locals.

Went here for lunch, food was exceptional and the wait staff was next level. Highly recommend. View is incredible.
