Although the official name of the mosque, which is one of the symbols of Eminönü, the historical and touristic district of Istanbul, is "Valide Sultan Mosque", it is widely known as "Eminönü New Mosque".

Eminönü New Mosque, Ottoman Sultan III. It was built by Ahmed's mother, Mihrişah Valide Sultan, in the early 18th century.

The construction of the mosque was carried out by Architect Mustafa Ağa.

The mosque, which adds beauty to the silhouette of Istanbul, has an architecture influenced by baroque and rococo styles. Visited by both locals and tourists, the mosque attracts attention with its historical and aesthetic value as well as worship.
