Probably would say “rocks on rocks on top of other rocks” but can appreciate also historical aspect of this place. It’s not breathtaking but I don’t regret coming to Side. Entrance is for free so that’s another plus. And dogs relaxing in shade just make this place even more beautiful.

It will take you an hour to walk around and to enjoy the beauty of this place. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amount of cats which locals take a good care of.

Ancient part of Side with lot of nice places to see. Out of season you can walk and enjoy the history.

Make sure you put on the right shoes!
There are allot of stones / obsticals.

Its a realy nice place,
You can walk around allot.
Or even take a camel ride. ( paid )

You can get a guided tour on a golf cart or walk around the whole area .obviously, fees are charged for certain areas, and vehicle access is kept to a minimum .

Open air museum with some restoration but much left to explore on your own. Beautiful setting, off season when you can take your time without the hassle of would-be tour guides.
