Bodrum Ecofarm Camping & Hostel

Awesome place to unwind and relax. I initially booked for 2 days but extended another week. It’s a great place to just chill out. The owner is cool, friendly and makes great dinners. Lots of beaches around if you’re willing to walk, taxi or hitchhike. Volunteers are friendly and add a cool vibe. Highly recommend!

Amazing place with a great vibe. Daytimes are great for reading a book in the hammock, going to the beach and for some music and drinks in the evening. Staff are friendly and the area is beautiful. A good place to take it easy and enjoy the nature… will be back again every year :)

I had a lovely week camping here! The owner and workers were super friendly and the camp itself has everything you might need. It's a bit of a walk to the beach and town, but it's a great area to explore, and minibuses are frequent enough. It's easy to take life at a slow pace here and do your own thing. I have been to many camps, but this place stuck me as really cosy full of welcoming people and volunteers who run the camp. Many services that could require additional charges are free. You have community area where we danced into the night, fridge, free washing machine, free guitar, free speaker with spotify and free dishes (free=free to use). I met up with very diverse people, wondered at them all and decided to cancel my accommodation elsewhere next day to spend additional night at the ecofarm.

This hostel is awesome, located outside the hustle and bustle of the main city of bodrum.. It’s quiet, relaxing and the staff are super friendly. I chilled in the hammock for hours reading my book, listening to easy tunes and chickens running around. We ate with the owner and his staff/volunteers, epic feed! Could not recommended this place more.

We just spent eight nights here in our camper and loved it. Our little boys played in the park and enjoyed watching the chickens and chicks wondering around freely. Practiced playing chess in the cafe, watched movies at night and relaxed in the hammocks under orange trees when tired. The restrooms and showers were conveniently close by and clean. The owner Cem accommodated our every request and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The beach was only 10-minute of walking distance, though we ended up going to the beautiful Akcabuk Beach (pictured,) which was 10-15 mins away by car. The town center was only five minutes away, where you could find banks, cafes, grocery stores, bakeries, pharmacies, etc. Overall, we had a great time here and we are planning to stay here again in the coming days/weeks.

Ecofarm Hostel is a phenomenal place to stay! Everyone I met here was super friendly, charismatic and welcoming. My reservation was originally for 2 days but I ended up staying the whole week. Not only that but the wonderful owner went so far as to buy me a tent and set up a cot in it so I could continue my stay even when the dorms filled up. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautiful camp, with a nice and friendly owner, good atmosphere, some chickens and a cute dog. I can really recommend this site. The price are cheap and fair. You can even join the owner on a cheap dinner or cook your own stuff. It's also clean and they always have hot water, WiFi and Cay. When I get the chance I will come again.

Peaceful place on the orchard. The cottages were super cozy and the homemade food was delicious every night. Big fan of Rosie, the pooch who watches over the land here. The owner, Cem is very hospitable and welcoming. The property is located in a great spot within walking distance to the sea. Really enjoyed the chickens wandering around the property each day. If you need a place to unwind and get some peace and quiet, stay here. Lovely spot and very unique. Lots of hammocks too and unlimited citrus fruit from the trees. I will be back in the future!

Had a great time with our friends. The camping site is very peaceful and the environment is just beautiful, especially at night.
Clean facilities, free drinking water and tea all day long. Can also store your food and drinks in the fridge. Very friendly and helpful staff who speak good English.
Definitely would recommend. Looking forward to the next time I come here :)

I've been there at the end of September and I've cried leaving this place. It was the end of the season so it was quite empty. Cem and his helpers have been just amazingly friendly, helpful and joyful. A relaxing place with chickens around, Rosie(the dog) an atmosphere of peace and joy and community vibes.. I miss that place every time I think about Turkey. I would recommend it to either couples family and solo travellers. Ciao Cem and thanks for everything. Hope to see you again💙

Cem and Ash’s food was delicious, with fresh eggs from the chickens and marmalade made from the tangerines.

If you’re looking for a communal, traveller atmosphere, and tasty, healthy food, this is the worth the trip from Bodrum.

I made great friends here, Cem took us out and we had fun. I will be returning!

I stayed 1 week but could easy stay longer.
It's so relaxed, Jam (the owner) realy makes you feel at home. There is a great common area, with lots of shade. Big green garden to relax. Fire place for cold(er) evenings. And not forget to mention that the food is delicious.
Bit farther away from the center and the beach. But it's a nice 20 min walk.

A peaceful environment under the tangerine trees. Cem is very kind and hospitable. Whatever you need he helps. Breakfast and dinner is pretty good. No beverage sales, water is free. You can use fridge. We met very nice people during the one-week camp, as well. I recommend you to prefer to stay here :)

Best camping I’ve been in Turkey so far. Wonderful place, surrounded by fruit trees. Cem and the crew makes it like being at home. I hope to be back one day to challenge the owner in a chess game

This place is very nice and cozy. Me and my friends we spend 8 night doing camping. The staff was very friendly. The food is very good and you can find all the facilities there. It’s near to supermarket and beach. We really had a nice time there.

I came to the Ecofarm to volunteer around 5 years ago and it was a wonderful experience. Cem is such a cool guy and I felt comfortable living there very quick after my arrival before staying for 3 months! I came back a few years later for a holiday and stayed for a week and was happy to see the progress that was made with the new accommodation options Cem and new volunteers had built. Highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to get away for a break in a chill relaxing area just outside Bodrum. Had some great times here and can’t wait to head back there and create more amazing memories! Keep up the good work Cem and see you again sometime in the future 😀💪🏻

Staff is kind and helpful with the information you need to enjoy your stay on the peninsula. The property is peaceful and beautiful. The meals provided were top notch. Would recommend to anyone!

4 nights here last week myself and my mate Ben. After a weary 14 hour coach across the country the peaceful, happy Ecofarm was the perfect nest. Breakfast and dinner offered at a very reasonable price considering the cooking prowess of Gem, the legend himself. He provided us with humour and a warm welcome. Get some mopeds rented near by and pop around the area for some idilic swimming spots. Hammocks sit under limes trees in this hostel and animals are premenent tenants here. Big cheers to Colm also and the other volunteers. There's half a bottle of Raku in the fridge which you're welcome to but I suspect Gem cannot stomach the cheap quality of it.

This place is exceptionally cozy and warmful. You can chill out when you swing on a hammock while listening to birds' sounds.
The owner(Cem) + the staff are super friendly and always there to assist you in anything you may need.
l would highly recommend this place without any doubt!
