Ramada Resort by Wyndham Akbuk

Rooms
We were given a room with 1 double bed, 1 single bed and a single sofa bed which was just right for us and the beds were very comfortable. A little bit more room for our suitcases would have been nice but we were able to make use of the spaces round the sides of the room. The en-suite bathroom was nice and modern and a decent size and toiletries were replenished daily. There is also a built in wardrobe and hangers that can be used as well as a safe to store your valuables. Finally, there is a kettle provided too and stocked with sachets or tea and coffee. The air conditioning works as it should and keeps the room nice and cool.

Housekeeping
Our bedroom was cleaned and tidied every day and housekeeping did a great job when we were out during the day. We were initially provided with bed sheets rather than duvets but a phone call to reception was all it took and duvets arrived within a few minutes.

Pool
There is one Large pool which was big enough for everyone even when the hotel is at full capacity like when we were staying and there is also a smaller pool with some slides for the smaller kids beside the big pool.

Beach pool and bar
This can be reached by using the free shuttle bus which runs every 20 minutes from the Security Gate. The shuttle takes you directly to the beach pool and bar and you just need to walk down a small paved ramp. The pool itself is a good size with 4 water slides which are very popular with both kids and adults. There are sun beds around the pool but can be fully taken at busy times so you might have to wait until people leave to get one. There is a buffet style food and drinks bar and free ice cream at certain times.
The beach itself is only a minute’s walk away from the beach pool and there are also sun beds here for you to use free of charge. The sea itself is nice and clean and the water is nice and warm too.

Restaurant
There is one main restaurant in the hotel which caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a buffet restaurant and you can help yourself to everything. There is also a bar near the entrance which serves soft drinks and alcohol and there are self service machines for coffee and pots for tea.
There is an A La Carte Restaurant beside the beach pool but you will need to enquire with Customer Relations in terms of availability as it needs to be booked first before you can go.

WiFi
The WiFi is virtually none existent during the day and I could only connect in the morning or evening when sat on my outside balcony. I spoke to Ibrahim about this and he advised me that the hotel did try to get fibre Broadband, however, the suppliers weren’t able to provide this. The hotel management are aware that this is an issue and are trying to address and fix this.

Staff
The staff, regardless of the job were all amazing and very polite.

Animation Team
The animation team are great with both adults and children alike. There are plenty of activities to participate in and the night shows are different every night.

Customer Relations
I would like to say a big thank you to Ibrahim and his wife who were so warm and welcoming every time I went to speak to them. They are always willing to listen to customer questions and answer any questions but most importantly always with a smile.

Overall
To sum up, we really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was exactly as described when we booked it. We had a very happy and comfortable stay, both kids and adults. It’s away from all the hustle and bustle compared to other parts of Turkey but we enjoyed the tranquility and the surroundings especially the backdrop of the forested mountains behind the hotel. I would recommend Ramada Akbuk to anyone who wants a nice quiet holiday as it is perfect for both kids and adults alike. A big thank you to Ibrahim and all the staff who made our holiday a great holiday, that we will remember for a long time for sure!

Aa a family of four we loved our stay at the Ramada. We enjoyed the food every day and the variety that they offered. The pool was a decent size and kept very clean. Free unlimited ice cream between 2 and 5 so little ones were very happy. The evening entertainment was great! Yes to go and excursions you do have to go on a minibus for at least 40 minutes but that is fine if you want to be able to see the local area as you go.
The beeches down the road and a shuttle bus takes you every 20 minutes there is also a beach pool with 4 water slides.

We love it!!! Various food, good service, spotless clean in the rooms and the pools, lots of fun for the kids, entertainment every day etc.
Definitely would recommend to anyone and would like to visit again.
Negatives:
1. The location - it is not close enough to the shops but buses to all destinations available
2. No good WiFi but it was a relief for some of us 😁

I just can’t stop saying good things about this hotel. The staff there is probably the friendliest and the most helpful, the food was awesome and the rooms were awesome too.

All inclusive resort up in the mountains overlooking the sea. Free shuttle to beach and pool/slides.

Very good hotel, everything was clean, food delicious and a lot of choice, nice staff, large and clean pools. The only thing I didn't like was the ugly beach, little choice of drinks and poor animations. But in general, I recommend it :)

All in a perfect place to chill out and unwind

- Rooms were nice and the maids cleaned Dailly
- The food was lovely and alot of traditional Turkish food
- I spent every day at the beach and a big thankyou to Birgol and Adem who greeted us with a smile every day

- I watched the world go by at liberte bar on the bay
- walked along the harbour and we hired a boat. 1000 TL for 2 hrs out to Sapli Ada island and the kids had a swim off the boat
- full Turkish bath experience at didim temple Spa and they picked us up from hotel

Situated in a quiet area of Akbük. All inclusive is excellent with a good variety of eating areas. Pool is big and has a children's area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

hi ,i stayed in the Ramada Hotel Resort in Akbuk along with a friend for a week this month of may 2018 and was pleasantly surprised with all the services on offer and the attention to detail of the staff .we never had to chase things up or look for for staff as everything was smoothly run and just flowed . i was in Akbuk a number of years ago but this Ramada resort adds another level to this lovely town.the total package on offer from the hotel ,beach club ,facilities ,transport, food, definitely lingers in the memory along with the best sunsets i have encountered from my balcony overlooking the Agean sea.

Excellent food & beverages, perfect services, clean rooms(pool, fitness, sauna, Turkish bath, steam bath), many different activities through the whole day and in the evening.

Very high standard with shuttle to the lovely Beach and local facilities lovely view's of the Bay and Mosque

This is not the actual hotel, but the beachside pool and bar for Ramada which is 800metes away from here.

Had hamam & massage last week & it was excellent. Will be going back regularly 👍
