Maxeria Blue Didyma Hotel

Just got home this morning. What a wonderful experience in this hotel. Spent 7 days. I wished I had booked for more days. Great food, great staff and rooms kept cleaned at all times. Swimming pool is enormous. If you wanted some peace, then the beach is where to go. Plenty of loungers to. Drinks were plentiful. It's definitely fantastic for children. If I was to be honest, I would not use this hotel in peak time as it would be absolutely packed. October was just right for us as both my partner and I are of a certain age. Looking forward to booking again next year.

I wanted to take this opportunity to share my experiences during my recent stay in Nuremberg. I am a frequent guest at MAXERIA hotel and my stays in your hotel have always been exceptionally positive. The entire staff consistently demonstrates friendliness and helpfulness.

Great destination for a holiday. Close enough to akbuk and altinkum but has plenty to entertain everyone without going out.
Rooms are large enough with all that's required such as easily controlled air con and a fully stocked mini bar.

Great wifi in almost all areas. Hit and miss on beach but you just need to get closer to the bar.

Animation crew are second to none. Great entertainment with loads of activities such as darts, water aerobics, volleyball and football etc. All the gang are great, plenty of smiles for the kids and banter for the parents. Titi the guy in charge of them all is a particularly fun chap and always ready with a one liner. You can't miss him, such a big personality👌.
Food is great, something for everyone. Al a carte was a little limited but still excellent. We had a disappointing encounter with one waiter and a bottle of wine / tip but guest relations were very pro active in sorting it out. Minor issue in the scheme of things.

Beach is a great chill out area, with a few watersports such as banana boat, jet ski etc. Pool is fun area for kids and entertainment. Aquapark is well thought out with plenty of slides a bar and not too big.

Whole hotel is very well planned out for keeping kids safe and pretty close without feeling too confined.

We are due to come back in July, can't wait.

We have had a wonderful time at this hotel. Staff are lovely and go above and beyond to help you. Lots for families to do and we have had a blast with Titi and his team - fantastic animation team, so positive and friendly with lots and lots of fun. Can’t wait to return in July with all 14 of us!!

We enjoyed our holiday for 6 days.
Cleaning and hygiene were perfect.
Meals, snacks, and alcohol were of high quality in the main building.
Aqua parks were good for both children and adults.
It is highly recommended to visit a spa and get a massage.
Rooms have poor soundproofing.
Seaside has rocks, so one needs to be careful.

Our family of 12 just returned from here and what can i say this is an amazing hotel! Lovely food throughout the day and night time, water slides are epic, pool area nice and there was plenty of sunbeds to go around (we did go near end of season though) weather was mid 30a every single day. Entertainment team are great too but I feel speedy needs an extra cheer he is very guest welcoming and was happy to have a chat and just answer questions for us. I only have 2 things to winge about. You are miles away from anything so don't expect to be able to walk down the road to the shops or a restaurant. The hotel has everything you need we could have quite easily stayed in all week but sometimes it's nice to get out for a wander.we got a taxi to Eden (Charlie's bar) and had some amazing food and went shopping. Charlie's boat trip also amazing! Charlie's abit of a weirdo though haha! My second winge is the bar man at night called feret with the funky hair! This guy is an idiot. We was a large party so to save all 12 of us going to the bar 4 of us would go and get 12 drinks for us all and he did nothing but give us hassle and moan clearly wanting a tip! We are all inclusive I can have as many drinks as I want and yes just to annoy him I tipped the younger waiter on purpose for doing our drinks all night without a single comment from him! Overall fantastic place and we all loved it!

So good we've rebooked....for a all inclusive foods great 24hr bar well is a option, great staff what's not to like

Had a brilliant holiday, everyone from the cleaners to the chefs were brilliant. The pools and aqua park were amazing for the grandkids and the variety of food was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent in all areas. Lovely place to take kids. dinner ,lunch And breakfast has loads of variety to choose from. Pools are fantastic. Water park wch opens certain hours is fun for all ages.

Wonderful holiday thanks to this lovely resort. Great food and drinks throughout our entire 1 week stay. The resort is so clean and well maintained even during busy times. The staff are non stop trying to give you all a great time. Nice spa area with brilliant massage services on offer. Small gym but does the job. We went during early April so the main pool was cold, but that was expected, the other smaller pools were heated so suitable for children. Kids club is great, the staff are nice and friendly. The evening entertainment is fun and as expected on resorts. Overall, a very pleasant result, one of a few I wouldn't mind revisiting 👍🏽. Keep up the great work 💪🏽

It was our first time all inclusive holiday where we pretty much doing nothing else than chilling. We usually choose a holidays where we can explore places, walk the area and check the attractions so this one was a new experience.
Hotel itself was fantastic. Quite new, nicely decorated, absolutely amazing stuff!Every single person staring from receptionist to house keeper was welcoming, reassuring, they were keep smiling and treating every guest like a VIP guest. Whatever you needed they were there instantly to help.
We went ther in April half term as we knew summer holiday in Turkey can be extremely hot and we are not fan of such a hot weather. All the swimming pools were open however the main one was a bit to cold for that season and not menu guests used it. It would be nice if it would be heated in colder seasons . Children’s outdoor pool was heated but it was tiny so would fit many people and was very shallow obviously.
Aqua park was absolutely amazing!Such a selection of slides! It was divided to sections for young children and older age group.
Food in restaurants was fantastic.Such a selection of dishes that possibilities were endless. We were trying to try everything as Turkish kitchen was new to us but it wasn’t possible because they were refreshing menus everywhere and dropping in new dishes.
The only downside for us was the area, it wasn’t much to explore around (except small islands you can actually walk to) but it wouldn’t affect my score for hotel itself.

Stayed for around 20 days in December 2022, which included Christmas.
Food was excellent with a lot of choice.
Drink was included as it's an All Inclusive hotel.
Staff very friendly.
Some parts closed during winter.....but that's to be expected due to less people staying at the hotel.
Water park closed during winter, again that's to be expected.
It did get busy on weekends and the hotel opened the larger dining area to accommodate.

Seen lots of reviews lately and just want to put people minds at ease and answer any questions , as I know people are saying they may change the holiday , feel nervous to come over

Firstly... most of us work all year or years to have a family holiday abroad!

Enjoy it , don't go off reviews, make your own mind up and make the most of - after all you only live once - and If you don't like it as Turkey is not for everyone, you know not to return - I've been to turkey around 10 times and this is the best I've been too in terms of safety, cleanliness , and effort put in !

This is our second Time to the hotel and believe me , my MOTO is I will never go anywhere twice but it is that good we have returned !

New additions are a Starbucks! Love it 😀
New additions to the animation team ! We miss Steven from last time but TITI , Ali G and Max are very good !

Few amazing points

- Italian and Turkish restaurant is a must
- water slides are great
- water sports on beach great - go to the ones 5 mins walk away on the right
- drinks and food on tap - something for everyone
- very clean
- very friendly
- Seaview room is lovely
- supermarket is literally 5 mins away - cheaper than shop on site
- morning stretch , gym , aqua aerobics is good
- it is roasting!
- bar staff cannot do enough for you !
- your children are very safe
- pools are lovely
- never been ill and we drink the ice , salad and brush our teeth with the water
- Charlie comes round the pool offering trips and meals out - all reasonable and good !
- vitamin smoothie bar - pay extra but amazing to get some goodness in you
- banana 🍌 😋 boat and couches are good
- jet skis are good also
- little gym if your feeling keen ( I admit I've been a few times )
- we have brought Turkish lira and found its cheaper when buying things
- bring a bingo pen ! Great prizes
- shows on every night
- foam party is great if you wanna go all out they have a white party so bring white costume , and dress ladies
- SIMA yoga classes are amazing!

Downside - ( well not a downside) - doesn't effect holiday

- bring money for arcades , snacks
- sometimes people are up 6 am for sunloungers- still plenty when down 7,8 and 9 am just may not be the spot you want
- loose a stone before you come, so many nice drinks and food to try lol 😆 😋
- entertainment finishes around 10.30pm so anyone wanting a late night need to bring entertainment
- cannot get English TV in rooms
- sports bar doesn't appear to be open

Apps on the TV would be an added benefit

They really do go above and beyond but you are sat around drinking and eating! It's very relaxing 😌

Bring midget spray for evening

I'm on week 1 second time in and I personally cannot fault it - my 12 year old loves it also

A great hotel where nothing is missing. All people are very helpful. Brian the waiter in particular made it very special for us. Every day was like a party for us, we were spoiled by the many people on the staff. The animation team is also very nice and tries to make you feel comfortable. In short, we will definitely come back here.

We are currently staying here and the hotel is fantastic! The food has wide range and you cannot eat or drink enough! The rooms are slightly small for a family of four so would advise to pay for family room although it is still manageable. I def would advise the sea view room the view is unbelievable! The hotel and rooms are immaculately clean. The animation team are amazing and the staff work so hard to guarantee a wonderful stay! Will definitely come here again!

Had a lovely week here. The hotel was amazing. The staff was amazing, the entertaining team was so lovely and friendly. There is plenty of food during the day and in the evening. Different entertaining programs/ shows every night.
There are plenty of activities for the kids.

I stayed in this hotel in May 2023 with my girlfriend and a 2 year old son. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and I wouldn't hesitate it to recommend this place to others especially those with younger children.
The place was kept really clean throughout the week, including rooms, lounges, restaurants and swimming pool areas. The staff at the hotel were generally very friendly and hard working. There was a good variety of food and the quality was not bad for an all inclusive hotel. Lots of chose for drinks too, the quality differed though depending on who served you and whether the place was busy or not. There is a number of swimming pools, including some smaller ones for children as well as an indoor swimming pool. Good size aquapark as well. There is access to the beach as well. Lots of entertainment activities, something for everyone.

Now some downsides :
- in May the water in the swimming pools was really cold. What made it much worse, was the in the aquapark designed for young children, there was a lot of splashing and water pouring from above which made it very uncomfortable. My son didn't want to go to some of the slides because of this.
- the aquapark area for smaller children was not supervised, which resulted in older children running around, going up the slides and pushing in front of smaller children which made it slightly intimidating for them,
- the hotel is very noisy, there is very loud music being played almost every day. Even when you're on the beach, the only thing you can hear is the bass from he hotel. Not very relaxing, why not turn it down and play some music from the beach bar?
- the beach bar closes early and has very limited number of drinks and no snacks
- the aquapark closes really early, at 4.30 pm which is definitely too early,
- there's only one bar open in the evening near the swimming pools and the entertainment. Which means a long walk and considerable wait for drinks,
- the hotel is pretty much places in a small residential area and looks completely out of place. There isn't much to do outside the hotel, not many places to go for a walk. There is a bit of a Promenade nearby but it's not been maintained and looks really neglected.
- access to the beach is a bit tricky, there is an underpass with either quite. Slot of stair or a really, really slow lift. That is if the lift works, which does not always seem to be the thing...

Overall, even despite those downsides we had a very enjoyable stay and I rate this hotel very highly.

I can't describe how amazing is this place, we had so much fun, it was a comfortable and stress releasing holiday.
We came for 5 days, actually it wasn't enough, i wish if i have stayed more.
The food was good
Staff were all friendly and welcoming
Thanks to the animation team, they were so funny and active.

Lovely hotel. Animation team are great. Lots going on for kids and adults. Pool and waterslides are fab. We had a swim up room which made the holiday.

Overall can give the hotel 5*,
- lovely staff, friendly, helpful just truly great crew!
- premium alkohol
- great food (at times but cold but tasty)
- great service, little extras like fresh orange juice, nice high chairs for babies etc
- you can truly see that hotel is packed and staff doing what they can
- heated pools

On the other hand:
- when is full no place to sit inside at diner times and need to wait for the table
- no play ground indoor or outdoor so there is not much to do with the little ones once they out of the pool or when the weather not permits. Hotel should think to do one! This is soooo important! Noting worst than bored kids!
