Hanimeli Turkish Food

I really liked this place. I came here 2x while staying in the village. I had the stuffed eggplant, the beef casserole, and the baklava. All were delicious. The owner is very kind and speaks great English. It was a pleasure to sit and have meals at this restaurant. There are many windows, so the view of the cliffside is very nice while enjoying the meal. Fresh food, fantastic service.

Small family owned tavern, with great local food. The owner Serkan welcomed us introducing his mother, the cook of the restaurant. We had an amazing dinner, the food was fresh and well prepared. We felt home, really enjoyed the experience

We returned just for the food, peaceful area, friendly staff. Everything is fresh, cooked on the spot .. including the home-made baklava❤.

Absolutely amazing. The zucchini crisps and cheese rolls were delicious. I had the Turkish ravioli. Service was great as well. Really good portion sizes.

We had a wonderful evening meal here. The food was divine and the service was so kind. We had a testi kebab and it was a very fun experience! I have no Turkish language :( but the owner explained all of the menu to me and helped me choose vegetarian options. 10/10 we really had a lovely time

One of the very best places to eat in all of Turkey. Had the pleasure of eating here this evening… Cozy restaurant, exceptional service, and most importantly - delicious food! Their Pot Kebap Lamb, meat balls, stuffed eggplant and rice pudding are a must!

Authentic Turkish homemade food with excellent hospitality! Simple and clean setup with a view. Food was delicious and was cooked by his wife and mother. He also offered to drop us in our hotel as it was raining. Must visit if you are in this side of the town.

This is BEST food I had in turkey!! The service, the peaceful ambiance, everything was spectacular!! An additional bonus is that food is all homemade by the owners mom. Can’t say enough good things about this place, it’s a Must!

An amazing small restaurant with an incredible family vibe. The owner Serkan was super kind and even spoke perfect Spanish. The food was posibly the best food in I personally had in Turkey. Absolutely recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant.

Excellent choice for anyone wanting to try turkish and local specialties. The prices were more than fair, the service very friendly and the food delicious. Good wifi and a very relaxing atmosphere. 100% recommended!

What a delightful restaurant! We are so happy we stopped here while visiting Mustafapasa. The food was outstanding and the family was so kind and knowledgeable about Turkish history and the town. Try the lamb pottery kebab; you won’t be disappointed!

Such a wonderful experience here! The owner very kindly gave us a cookery class ($50 each) with his mother when we arrived and asked about it. Everything was delicious and they're all so kind - a lovely family. Definitely make sure to go, if not for a class for lunch/dinner.

HaniMeli means hand of woman. Family owned restaurant where the mom is the cook. Try everything here and don’t forget the dessert. Best baklava I’ve ever had!!

We're very lucky to have stopped here for lunch - it was fantastic! The view from the balcony over the town is very nice, the family running it was lovely and the service impeccable. But mostly we were wowed by the outstanding food (including the melt-in-your-mouth eggplant, highly recommended)!

Really amazing food. I had the testi kebab and my girlfriend had the manti. Both dishes were so great! The staff was really nice and they make their own sauce in a huge pot in the back. The kitchen is actually something out of a normal house so you know it’s “home cooked”. If I ever come back to cappadocia I’ll be sure to stop here again. You won’t regret it!

Super nice and authentic experience!
The owner with his mother who is the cook were waiting for us to go (since it was a very cold night with no other customers) and we have great food and service. Highly recommend the fried zucchini balls and the aubergine with mince meat. Super high value for money. We will remember it for long.
