Old Greek House

In the historic Greco-Turkish village of Mustafapaşa, this is an old and iconic hotel and restaurant.
During my tour, my guide brought me here for lunch, the decor and ambiance take you back in time, just like how it was a 100 years ago, and place maintains some of the relics of multiple minority communities in the village.
The service was great, and food was traditional Turkish, and delicious. Had a very nice relaxing meal in a place that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of cities, and gets you forget time and place as you savor good delicacies and enjoy the quiet company of local folks there.

We only came here for food every evening as a part of a travel package. The food was delicious and we were always impressed by the dishes served here - all traditional Turkish dishes (slow cooked beef, eggplant with sauce, lentil soup). The owner is super nice and was always present to make sure everything is perfect.
So if you're around, I've heard this is the best place to grab food.

We stopped over at the restaurant only. The food was traditional flavoursome. So many yummy vegetarian options, local wine and home made baclavas. The decor was amazing and we had a table y elder a grape vine. Service was fast and polite. Would go back anytime.

The food was really good.
You must have wrapped grape leaves, stuffed bread, aubugine with beef and pot chicken.
The service you get is fast and efficient. The place is warm and welcoming.

Beautiful restaurant set in a historic, preserved Greek-style home serving Turkish meals. The food was fantastic and service was friendly. You can also go upstairs and explore the house which has been beautifully preserved.

This restaurant is more than that! Very beautiful house and the food is so delicious! The garden is just gorgeous! We tried to have all the local dishes and it was soo tasty! Must visit!!

We had lunch at the Old Greek House during our time in the area and it was one of my favorite meals during our time in Turkey! The village is beautiful and the location is lovely. I would make it a point to stop here for a meal!

When I stayed at a hotel down the street I went to the restaurant to order food to go to take back to my room for my room mate that was ill. I was surprised when all of the food came out on trays with dishware, silverware, napkins the whole thing! I thought they needed to go back and put it all in containers. He proceeded to follow me back to my room with his tray and set us up to eat this most delightful meal! It was an amazing experience, they were so gracious and the food couldn't have tasted better! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Cappadocia!

Beautiful restaurant, we were a rather large group, so we had a set menu, delicious food, the upstairs is absolutely gorgeous, we actually did a photo shoot in there, decided on the spot. 100% recommended!
P.S. If you go, and there will be two old ladies selling things just outside the restaurant, please buy something from them, their things are cheap, beautiful, and I’m sure those moneys are much needed :)

Don’t let the name fool you, this is a really great Turkish restaurant, which locals visit and recommend. Situated in an old wealthy people’s house, it kept its charm, especially in rooms upstairs. We ate the meze selection and kind of beef stew cooked with vegetables, which was amazing. Quick and friendly staff. Most recommended

Amazing food but much smaller portions than anywhere else (for the same amount of money). As good as the food was the place felt a bit impersonal. But the food made up for it. Would come back again!

Went to Old Greek House on our first day in Mustafapasa and were blown away. The restaurant is at the bottom of a gorgeous old Greek house: ask to see the frescoes and rooms upstairs - amazing! The food was delicious and the service fab. We loved it that so much that we went back again!

This is an amazing place where you could have a meal if you are in mustafapasa. It's an old Greek house as the name suggests and belongs to a very lovely family. We had dinner here on one of the days we were in Mustafapasa. The food was amazing. Since we are vegetarians, the owner explained what dishes the menu consisted of and which dishes we could order as per our dietary needs. We ordered some mezze, pilav and an aubergine dish to go with it. It was delicious and we are so glad we could come here. It was a bit difficult to look for the place. You may face the same difficulty but do not give up. Keep looking. It's definitely worth a visit. I also learnt to say gule gule after interacting with the family. 😁 Such sweet people.

A very nice place...dishes are fine and the lentil soup is very yummy...you can have a tour inside the house and see all details...highly recommended as it is part of the historical story of the area

Very good food and service! As an old Greek house though I would expect to be treated with some sweets, coffee or raki in the end of the meal!
