GALATA’S HOTEL

I was very satisfied with my stay. The breakfast was excellent. Special thanks go to the staff who took care of me and my colleagues on May 1st, when public transport in the city was stopped due to May Day celebrations. Without them, we would have been very stressed getting to the airport. Once again, many thanks.

The staff and management of this wonderful hotel are all attentive, patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. I will go out of my way to stay here any time I am in Istanbul. And it is located in Karakoy. What's not to love?

I had the pleasure of staying at the Galata's Hotel these past 12 days. I came to Istandbul alone for surgery, however the staff at the hotel made me feel not alone and treated me like family. They made sure all my needs were met, and went above and beyond to assist me in my recovery, especially Murat and Okan. Not sure I could of done it without them.

This is one of the best hotels that has a rating on 4 star hotel that we believe it should be higher. The room was very clean shower were great. Breakfast wS very good coffee great food was efficient we have traveled alot and between some that did say they are 4 star this is a true 4 star.the staff us and was very helpful to us even help to retrieve a taxi and gave us help with our luggage and local sightseeing. Highly recommended 👌

I stayed a few nights at the Galata Hotel during my last trip to Istanbul, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel's location is truly fantastic, nestled on a charming street filled with cozy cafes and delightful restaurants. It was a perfect spot to immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

The Galata Hotel itself is a well-maintained establishment with modern amenities that cater to the needs of its guests. The staff members were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist and provide recommendations. Their warm hospitality added an extra touch of comfort to my stay.

The room I stayed in was cozy and impeccably clean. It provided a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the terrace. It offered a stunning panoramic vista of Istanbul, creating a memorable backdrop for enjoying breakfast or simply relaxing.

Speaking of breakfast, the Galata Hotel's morning spread was exceptional. It offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day on a satisfying note. From fresh fruits and pastries to hearty dishes, there was something for every taste.

Overall, my stay at the Galata Hotel was nothing short of delightful. The prime location, friendly staff, comfortable room, and stunning terrace view made it a memorable experience. Also, I profited from the gym and swimming pool on the underground floor.

The staff was very welcoming and helped us a lot in planning our days.
The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the swimming pool area. The location is also great as everything is in walking distance.
On my birthday the staff prepared a lovely surprise for me. I was really touched by that!

That was a right choice for our first visit to Istanbul! We traveled with my family. The hotel staff was amazing! The hotel design was perfect, the room was cosy and comfortable! Swimming pool was a big plus! Location is the best! We really recommend to stay there! Thank you!

We were booked to stay at Galata's Hotel - but plans changed due to our group's requirements. This has not affected my good impression of the hotel though. We did much research and found the Galata's location, price, room standards and overall attractiveness hard to beat. The hotel ( a big thank you to the hotel manager Beste, for the assistance she rendered us) went through great lengths to show us the delightful rooms we had initially booked, and answered all our queries with great patience and understanding. We hope to stay here in future when we visit Istanbul, as it is hard to surpass the Galata's great location on the Bosphorus, and proximity to Kadikoy, the Old City as well as the more modern quarters of this splendid city.

Fantastic hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Centrally located next to many cafes etc. The hotel and our rooms were clean. The spa facilities were at no extra charge and were brillant. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Would definatley recommend and if i returned to Istanbul would stay here again.

What a great location, everything is a walking distance to Galatas Tower, Emminonu and many street food options available for tourists. I will highly recommend the tantuni durum a min walk from the hotel!

Modern hotel, in Karakoy. The hotel facilities are amazing; Breakfast is buffet style, swimming pool available in the basement with a Hamam. Room size is okay for 3 people, with comfortable bedding and shower.

Friendly helpful staff, thank you for an amazing stay - we will be back!

Incredibly friendly and professional staff. The hotel is very nice with a beautiful design. Sauna and pool are so relaxing. But my favorite part is how genuinely warm and friendly the staff are. Every single one of them really goes above and beyond for the guests. I highly recommend this hotel. Not to mention the location is right in the middle of amazing trendy restaurants, coffee shops and more.

Another excellent hotel in a very cozy and comfortable location. Soon as you step out you look left and right and there’s some nice restaurants to eat. It’s also in the central area of Istanbul, the subway and ferry are close by as well. The rooms are very very clean! They’re a a bit on the small side not as spacious but it’s okay as I was traveling solo. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be staying there again for my future visits.

We were stayed for 4 night. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is near the center and clean but a bit noisy and the breakfast wasn't so good. Apart from this we had such a great time there.

It is a wonderful hotel with excellent service! They are very helpful and the location is perfect. It is in a nice neighborhood to walk around in and close to major attractions. The room was very clean and modern. Breakfast was lovely each morning. I would definitely stay here again!

Good location, nice hotel room, some hygien supplies was empty (only one box) and we had to ask for extra toilet paper twice. It can be noisy if you keep window open. But hotel is very nice overall and sauna with pool was 5+.

An AMAZING 7 night stay with my fiancé in the heart of Istanbul! We are still talking about the property to this day just because of how well we were treated and how everything was absolutely PERFECT! Huge shoutout to the reception staff for making our stay as pleasant as possible by always being there to answer questions, fulfill requests, and provide us with cookies for the holidays. The hotel is super centrally located with the tram station being 5 minutes away, Galata Tower being 8 minutes away, and having a bunch of great restaurants, cafes, and pubs all within a 3 block radius to the hotel. On top of everything, there is a beautiful orange cat that stays inside the lobby and seeing him every night made us even happier. You can reserve private swimming time for you and your room in the pool due to the covid which was a nice touch. In addition, there is a rooftop restaurant and you notify the staff if you need a room cleaning by pushing either the "Do not disturb" button or "Room cleaning" button in your room. We are overly satisfied and can't wait to come back to Istanbul again to stay at Galata's! Thank you to the entire staff for making this trip the best trip we took to date! 10/10 STARS from us!
