Pierre Loti Cafe

The café named after the French novelist, naval officer Pierre Loti
is one of the best outdoor cafés in the city and provides breathtaking views over the Golden Horn. Opened in the 1910s and restored in 1964 by Sabiha Tansuğ (the only woman to appear on a Turkish coin)
The café offers a modest menu including basic toasted sandwiches, gözleme (a kind of Turkish pancake), soft drinks, tea and Turkish coffee.

The most practical way to reach the hill is to take a public bus from Eminonu, following the coastal road over the Golden Horn to Eyup. From there, you can either take the 3-minute Eyup-Pierre Loti Hill cable car ( Pierre loti tepesi )
or walk about 800-900 meters uphill, following the Pierre Loti Hill signs from the Eyup Mosque .
When u get out of the car cable u take either the electric stairs or the elevator) there are normal stairs , once out u find a place where u can admire the beautiful view, also there is a telescope, and up in a few steps the famous Pierre Lotti café.
Tip ( when u order .. pay ur order when the waiter brings u the order) so u don't wait ages to pay since it's crowded .
