Minoa Akaretler

The employees here are very attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the food but they are small portions for some of the pricing and the books are kind of pricey, too. Although, they have a lot of really neat books ranging from biographies to social problems! I did enjoy the coffee iced and hot. The overall atmosphere is so neat because of the lighting, the bookstore inside, seating/tables, etc. The wifi is easy to access, too. I love coming here!

Excellent atmosphere, perfect design for the book section. Very nice staff. Books are priced reasonably. However it's not suitable for working or studying coz that what I originally came to the place for. However highly recommended to visit for the books and the atmosphere.

I visited this book cafe in Akaretler to spend some time and tried their cold brew and raspberry-blueberry milkshake. The cold brew wasn't clear, likely because it was unfiltered, and it didn't taste very good. The milkshake, on the other hand, was delicious and made without any added sugar. The place reminds me of the old bookstores in Europe or America, though it's decidedly more cafe-like and almost always full. It's a nice spot in the area to sit and enjoy some good drinks.

I am not allowed to eat sugar and it's hard to find sugar-free desserts in Istanbul. Luckily Minoa Akaretler had very tasty sugar-free cookies. If I was to compare Minoa Pera and Minoa Akaretler, the ambiences would be very different. Pera is more peaceful and the contingent there is better. But this is solely my perspective. I still had a great time in Minoa Akaretler.

Very unique and beautiful atmosphere! I loved the selection of the music calm and artistic! It is the perfect place to sit in peace and read a boon especially since it is coffee shop and a library too (the library is quite large with tons of options if you like reading you must check it out!) they offer a wide selection of alcoholic drinks non alcoholic beverages and even food! You have to give a try when you are in the hood!

Cutest little coffee shop! The coffee is good, and the desserts okay. I mainly come here for the atmosphere - it’s something magical about having coffee while surrounded by books ✨✨✨

One of my beloved place since it has opened. İt feels like you are your cosy place with peace. Even i am not living in Besiktas now, still going this place for breakfast or lunch☘ Minoa fit kahvalti is my favourite and enough for being full.( pouche egg and granola and small salad wlth a free filter coffee)
For this kind of place, prices are ok i guess. Not so high. Also for bookstore part, dont miss second floor🥰

Definitely recommend this bookshop-café. You can find a huge variety of books, including the foreign ones. The black cat is a plus.

Brilliant coffee shop integrated with a book shop, with amazing breakfast and drinks/coffees. I had the the roast beef sandwich with pickles and mustard - absolutely delicious. The home-made lemonade is also a highlight. Highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful library s I have ever seen..the display is so elegant and the highlight is the staircase on both the sides lined with colourful books which look stunning ..moreover there is ample place to sit and read a book and also a cafe with excellent snacks and cakes to go along ..

A place to be explored. In a quaint book store, the nostalgic smell of printed books mixed with the exquisite scent of fresh brewed espresso coffee makes this place a must to visit.

you can find many foreign publish books. it has 3 floor. the top floor has many resources books, which different sources such as gardening, sourdough bread, architecture etc. it has a nice Cafe and small exterior garden, which you can sip your coffee in the entrace floor.

I saw the place by chance. It has coffee, food, books, antiques, pottery and so much more. They have designed books for everyone and every field. Loved the place. 2 stories and lovely staff too❤❤❤❤

I've only ever been to the bookstore part but today we also had lunch at the cafe part.
The bookstore itself is quite magical, as always.
The food was also surprisingly delicious. I say surprisingly because these places usually only have coffee and desserts but their savory/meal type of foods were great as well.
I had the vegan falafel panini and my friend had kinoa köfte with fries. We were both satisfied ☺

This is a brilliant place to read, work from, or simply buy a book and drink a cup of coffee. There are books in English and Turkish languages, across all verticals. You can bring your laptop and work from the cafe side (internal) where it's less loud than the outdoor space. You can also enjoy the calm area to read a book at the highest floor.

Nice selection of books and a place where you can finally find many things in English. Sadly it is always a little expensive to buy foreign books here, but I think the prices were actually ok. The coffee was also fine, I didn't try any food though.

This is a great place to have a bite to eat. Their food selection is great and the bartender/barista makes great mixed drinks.
This is a chilled place to just relax while reading a book from their vast selections or you know posting/getting updates from your social media. Location-wise, it is just a couple of blocks from the promenade in Basiktas. The staff was extremely friendly… you will not be disappointed
