Izmir Wildlife Park

I don't know why, but before visiting here I didn't have high hopes for it. It completely shocked me. One of the best wildlife parks/zoos I've ever been to. Stunning surroundings with natural nature and green trees. The animals were all well looked after and had plenty of space as thought they were in their natural habitats.
Very well kept and clean.
Plenty of toilets situated around the park. 2 cafes to stop for a drink or bite to eat. Would definitely come back again and would recommend to all ages. We had an amazing day out here. 10/10

Great place for a walk! Lots of different animals! The park is well maintained, clean, there are plenty of trash cans, the toilets are clean, there are many benches, several excellent playgrounds, and there is a place to eat. Definitely recommend!

Plenty of animals, including some of the big five, can all be seen at this zoo. It's probably the cheapest zoo I've ever visited, too - 70p, at the time of writing. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Izmir and have some spare time

Excellent place to spend a weekend. Especially great for kids where you will find animals not in cages but roaming freely. Facility is well kept and clean. Entrance fee is about average. You need good weather to visit to make it enjoyable.

Place is great, i am against Zoo, but this ine impressed me. Anymals are happy. I was happpy too.

A great place to spend time with your family. Lots of playgrounds for kids and several cafes inside. Animals are well taken care of, no need to worry about it.

The only problem is the transport. It would be best to have your own car. On our way back we took the bus at the closing hour and it was full.

In overall I recommend it to everyone visiting İzmir, you will enjoy it for sure!

10 lira for students and 20 lira for adults. The ticket entrance is a bit confusing for people who don’t understand Turkish but the staff were very friendly and helpful and directed us to the turnstiles where you can tap your bank card and pay when entering through it.

The zoo is big and takes about 2-3 hours to go through. I highly recommend visiting this zoo when you come to Izmir. There are a wide variety of animals and a petting area. The animals seem to be well taken care of and there are rescue animals such as birds that they take in to treat and release until healthy.

The food there is also good and affordable and there is free wifi.

Green place, large area. Animals are kept in good conditions, look good, clean. It's very pleasant to walk. There is an air base nearby. It’s bad that helicopters and planes fly over animals, it can be noisy. Large, free parking nearby. Instead of a ticket, they give a token, it's environmentally friendly. Also, you can pay for the entrance Izmircard. Plan to spend about three hours or more here.

Nice place to visit if you like zoos. It’s clean. Entrance is cheap, less than €1 at the time for adults. Small children can enter free of charge. Lots of animals. There is a friendly atmosphere . Our kids had a great day

Large park for taking in the wildlife and natural setting. Nicely landscaped and organized with good walking paths, benches and fresh cold water along the way. Animals appear healthy and content. Such an affordable fun half day! Nice snack bar with great ice cream too.

We really enjoyed the zoo. You can pay at the entrance with a contactless card (adults 20 liras), children under 6 years old are free. The animals are in spacious enclosures. The park itself is very beautiful, lots of trees and bushes. I liked the elephant family the most.

Cool zoo with cool animals, you can go there by public transportation, first go to chili by İZBAN after that go by bus to the zoo. the ticket it was so cheap 10 lira. We spend about 3 hours to visit whole of the zoo. If you are interested about animals you may visit this place.

Simply fantastic for children and adults alike. Perfect size. It has all the animals and birds and reptiles you can imagine in perfect settings. Have visited the place many times over the years. A big thanks to all the staff for their hardworking in maintaining this excellent zoo

About the price it was too affordable even i can say it's nearly free 😅

You can pay by İzmir municipality transport card or credit card at arival. The price 40tl for adults and 15tl for students. There was alot more animals than we expected and you could easily spend upwards of three hours walking around the entire zoo. Great for families.

Absolutely amazing zoo! Huge space, good infrastructure, easy way to reach by bus. Reserve 3..4 h to discover it, try to choose not a very hot days. For sure have to visit, even not once!

Great place to with kids. The entrance fee is symbolic 10 trl per person. Entrance fee for babies is free. The animal shelters are big and well kept. Yhere are toilets, cafes, food, ice cream - everything needed to spent a day in it.
I recommend to go early in the weekends as it gets extremely crowded in the noon.
Parking lot is big and free, but no place to park in the noon.

Great experience. I visited it three times and did not feel bored at all. Too many different species there. You can access it by public transportation almost any where from İzmir where you can use Moovit Application to know which one to select.
The entry price is 10 TL, 5 TL for students and free for those under 6 years old.
Highly recommended.

Exellent Zoo! The best i ever saw. Very big place, with a lot of animals. There were tigers, lyons, giraffes, elephants, birds, snakes and etc.. Entrances were very cheap (around 10 lira/person = 0.5 euro) Clean, well organized, big free parking area. I recommend to all tourist, go visit it!

Good place for kids.
They can explore, play and exercise their precious feet from walking.😂
This is a big zoo. So if u will bring your todler dont forget to bring something that they can ride if u are tired from carrying them😂.
We will go back jere again next time
