Areni Cappadocia Restaurant

What an unexpected night. Just a quite Monday evening in Cappadocia. This restaurant was super empty being the time in season and time of the week. But what a super fun evening. Food seriously out of this world and full of flavour. Muhrat our waiter made us feel super welcome and not at all like we where in an empty place. We absolutely loved it. I’m a vegan and they more than delivered. Vegan mushrooms and the vegan vegetables claypot where to die for. Muhrat’s personal touch was the cherry on top. But the vegan crunchy pumpkin is a must try. PS: mention you are vegan before ordering and they will suggest you the best in season.

Lovely experience at Areni, where we stopped for lunch with our tour group. The testi was amazing, köfte was good and the baklava was incredible. Delicious and new experience with the local wines as well. Would recommend!

Traditional Turkish mezze with solid main choices. Testi kebabi (beef slow cooked in claypot) was absolutely delightful, highly recommend this main. Paired with local Capaddocian wine - sensational.

Great ambience and good food.
Many yum vegetarian options. The stuffed eggplant, pepper starter and Topki were delicious.

Me and my fiancé went and had our lunch there with the recommendation of our tourist guide deniz who was very helpful with everything. He introduced a dish with beef (forgot the name) where he said is very famous in turkey among locals and find it so delicious. My fiancé also tried turkey's famous Raki which is also very good. Staff were very accommodating plus the restroom is very clean. A must visit restaurant! ☺😍

Full service and variety of plates it’s great. From 7 days we came back 3 times to try new potras and all of them were great. Besides it’s open in non regular hours.

I love it here! I have been here two nights in a row and I have only good things to say. My husband and I had lamb, beef, chicken tika masala, jasmine rice & honestly the customer service and the atmosphere and the food put together is just magnificent. I highly recommend Areni.

A beautiful restaurant! The octupus with mastica was fantastic and the rice pudding... Omg!

Price wise it is comparable to a mid range restaurant in Australia, so while it is a little more than some places in Turkey it is still very reasonable for the high quality.

We had a really pleasant diner and an amazing service. We called the restaurant before coming in as they were closing. They accepted to wait for us before closing the kitchen. The beef cheek was really the best meal i had in Turkey so far!

Very nice and authentic restaurant. I think they have the best stuffed eggplant with plum sauce. You should all try it.
