Consider yourself lucky if you get the chance to fly. Often if the weather conditions aren't right, they will cancel the flight out of safety precautions. The day we flew it was perfect, you wake up at 4AM then head to the field, each balloon hold 40 people, and they have a bit over 100 balloons in the air.

Once in the air, you will be taken away by the view, at the peak of the ride you will hit 800 meters in the air, this experience alone made my trip to Turkey unforgettable.

One of the best experience I have on a Hot Air Balloon. To compare this with the one I took in Perth, the view is breathtaking and you have to take in the view and enjoy the ride. The Hot Air Balloon Pilot is very professional and you have nothing to worried about. You just have to listen to their instructions and it will be smooth sailing.

One of the best experiences for 15 to 20 minutes of your time. Quite expensive but worth it.

If you never taken a flight in a hot-air balloon, Cappadocia is one of the best place in the world to try it. Flight conditions are especially favourable here, with balloons operating most mornings throughout the year. Seeing this area remarkable landscape from above is a truly magical experience and many travellers judge it to be the highlight of their trip. Transport between your hotel and the balloon launch site is included in the hefty price, as is a sparkling wine toast. Winds can become unreliable and potentially dangerous, so you should always book the dawn flight. All passengers should take a jacket and should trousers and flat shoes.

One of the thing that you must do when visiting Cappodocia. The air balloon ride was a great experience and it a beautiful view from the top, and you will see many balloons in the sky the same time. I will do it again if I ever come back to Cappodocia.

Merhaba! If you come to Cappadocia, riding an air balloon will be one of the very recommended activities there. We need to depart from the hotel in the early morning (the balloon company will pick us up), arriving at the take off spot, we can see them preparing the balloon, filling it with hot air and getting the big basket to be ready, all very interesting to watch, also they serve hot tea, coffee and snacks.
I came in winter, so the weather was cold to minus 3 Celcius. Prepare your winter shoes and clothing if you come in winter.
Then, after the balloon is set and ready, we can climb into the basket. The pilot and co pilot will inform some safety rules we need to know before taking off, then the balloon will slowly and smoothly fly up.
The maximum altitude for the ballon will be 800 meters (2624 ft), the pilot will take us down to the valley and fly up again.
The views from the ballon are magical, you will definitely agree with me. You can take pictures/videos while up in the air, but be careful not to drop anything.
I experienced a very smooth landing, the pilot even could land the basket right on the trailer which is used to drag the basket & the ballon.
In the winter, the balloons can not be fixed to fly everyday as when the day is foggy or having bad weather then they all can’t fly. This activity is also controlled by the Turkish Air Force, they will just let the balloons fly only if the weather is good and safe.
It costs me usd 280 (January 2023), its worth the money. If you are planning for it, then, I wish you a nice & safe air-balloon ride!

Absolutely amazing. There's no words to describe this experience. If you have the chance, you should, without any doubts in your mind, go for it. Breathtaking views and fun pilot. Breakfast and "champagne" is included. It's 150 euro per person. You also get the chance to buy a full 360 degree video of the balloon flight with selfies in the end aswell.

One of the most memorable experiences of a lifetime. They pick you up on time from your room, before sunrise. The balloon lasts in the air for about 2 hours. It’s a beautiful moment to be right up there and they fly you around all the mountains and eventually land you onto the fields near cows. It’s nothing but stunning

It was one from the bucket list , you need to wake up around 4 to see the sunrise . Choose good company’s , price is from 50-60 euros . Rest all online prices ignore bargain and bring to this price .

My wife and I just returned from Cappadocia where we had the most amazing 2 full day 1 night excursion to Cappadocia with Hot Air Balloon Cappadocia. Wonderful 2 full days of touring the area with excellent guides, a magnificient night at the MDC Cave Hotel, capped off with the expereince of a lifetime ballooing over the historical sites with 160 other balloons at sunrise. Don't miss this outstanding experience with the excellent tour organizer. These guys did a wonderful job orchestrating our entire excursion and we can't thank them enough for the experience.

What an awesome experience. Our pilot was a comedian as well. It’s expensive but definitely worth the time and money.
