I had a chicken curry, rice and salad. Overall fantastic cheap meal without the trills and platitudes you might be accustomed to. Food is served cafeteria style but ultimately the waiters still bring food to you.

As a non local you might stick out a bit here (I did for sure) but you will still feel welcomed and be taken care of. The staff are quick and very attentive ensuring you get enough to eat.

Want more bread? At Sofram you don't have to ask! There's a bin of bread on each table and you just help yourself. What a sense of community this brings to your meal.

food is amazing with reasonable price. it’s also located in the city center where you can easily walk from Taksim Square. when you’re looking for an authentic place where local people eat, come and try their cookings instead of grabbing anything expensive around this touristy area. and oh, the staff are friendly too!

I was dubious when I first arrived looking at the selection on offer, however, the food was delicious! A real hidden gem in the city. The owners are honest and genuine. The food was simple but very tasty. and you receive complimentary bread. For 2 persons to eat 4 dishes with 2 drinks it came to 325TL.

I randomly found this place using google map. The place is more than I was expecting. The owner and servers were polite and friendly. They were always trying to communicate with us in English and be helpful as much as possible. The food was perfecttttt. I love them. They were tasty and also cheap. Based on my observation, many locals eat here as well.

This is one of the best meals I've had in Istanbul. It's not fancy, but a place where locals and working people go to get a good meal at a price they can afford. I love the atmosphere here. The staff are very polite and do a good job keeping the food coming.

Very recommended! Very good authentic food, and very cheap! It’s worth noting that it doesn’t have working air conditioning and the toilet is low maintenance. Still absolutely worth it

Got tired of kebab in a wrap and wanted some hot meal. Found this place while walking and saw it packed with people, perhaps taxi drivers eating fast and quick on the table. Excellent beef and chicken and desserts on display. One person = 60 - 80 TL. Highly recommended if you’re ever in the neighborhood. 😃
