Superb 5 star hotel in Istanbul close to the Bosphorus. Beautifully laid out, classic interior design. A lot of modern history associated with the hotel with many famous guests staying here including the great Muhammad Ali in his heyday. The service is top class at all levels. Incredibly friendly and helpful teams of staff in each department of the hotel. If you book an Executive room you get access to the Executive dining area where you can eat and drink for free, within reason. I rate this hotel highly ..

Amazing hotel in a really nice place with wonderful views from the balcony overviews the Bosphorus! We had the opportunity to stay in our last visit in Istanbul. The hotels is super close to the most places in Istanbul, with friendly staff, big rooms with amazing huge beds and balcony with amazing view!
The breakfast is one of the best we ever had with a lot of local/turkish things to try from sweet to salty and savoury! The only minus is we were expecting to use the swimming pool but we couldn't because of the renovation!

My stay at this historic hotel was excellent in every aspect. Situated in a central location, it offers easy access to the vibrant heart of Istanbul. The breakfast buffet was delightful, with Ilkay providing exceptional service, ensuring a great start to each day. The executive lounge offers a stunning view of the Bosphorus, accompanied by a decent selection of food and drinks. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a truly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for those seeking a blend of history, comfort, and impeccable service.

Each room has a balcony and it was drizzling when I stayed here. The cold wind and the view of the city was spectacular

I am adding this review to share with you my experience.

The hotel is currently under renovation, so everything is almost closed or relocated. I’ve been there multiple times before and I can say that when everything is open it is one of the nicest hotels in Istanbul. So please check that the amenities you want are open before booking.

But, if you come now you should ask for executive lounge access. The food is the most amazing I got. Everything is unique and you don’t need to pay for a dinner.

And the manager of the hotel always tries to find a solution. Also: a big thanks to Ergin A. who was fantastic. Always nice and smiling, the best possible staff manager. He made my stay amazing.

I had such a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. Merve was working around the clock to ensure I had a pleasant stay. She would frequently check to make sure that everything was to my liking and that I was comfortable. The rooms were large and the cleanliness was excellent. The balcony was an added bonus that I really appreciated. The breakfast was also very good. The best part of my stay was the customer service provided to me by Merve Nur and the large room with balcony. In the future, after the renovations are complete, I will be staying here again.

Me and my wife spent our honeymoon at this hotel. Excellent service... Excellent location... and overall we had a wonderful stay.... The hotel gifted us a drink and a cake and that was very nice. Special thanks also to housekeeping for the wonderful service in cleaning our room every day.... especially Serile ☺

Visited for a conference but stayed for days following. Amazing facilities, staff, and hotel. Very accommodating for all of our requests and made our stay wonderful. Unfortunately parts were under renovation so will have to visit when completed.

Amazing experience! The welcome, the stay, and the service were all exceptional. We got an upgrade to the Presidential Suite and that was a surprise. At the beginning, it was for one night and then surprisingly extended for our whole stay. Everyone Ismail, Betul, Fuat, and Mervenur (hopefully I didn't forget anyone) were always available for whatever we needed. Breakfast, service, cleanliness, and restaurants were all excellent. For sure our choice for our next visit to Istanbul!

The hotel is good and its truely a 5 star. It has all the facilities one may need during her/his stay in Istanbul but due to the renovation some amenities are not available. Staff are so nice and polite especially Mehmet Emin in restaurant and Ferhat. View is fascinating either bosphorus or garden. Its my second stay here and I will do it in future.

Mujdat, Eren Can, Mervenur and Farhan were extremely helpful and kind during our stay. I recommend the rooms and service was great, plus the location is close to a lot of important places and sightseeing

İ had a lovely stay in here, and the staff was so friendly and caring. İ came here before but this time it was amazing! Especially Merve Nur, she handled all our needs and felt us really special in the hotel. she made us feel at home and we felt like the most special guests. Definitely gonna come back to see her!
