Food tasty and big portion. One meal about 450-500 Lira, i am not sure if that consider standard price. But we are small eater, one portion can feed two of us. Complimentary starter and cay tea.

We absolutely loved the delicious food and excellent service here! Mi an personnel was attentive, friendly and warm and made our experience here all the better! The food was fresh, nicely spiced and perfectly cooked. The presentation was beautiful and the portions were generous! All in all, this restaurant was excellent and we will return in a heartbeat! Love authentic Katmer dessert along with a Turkish coffee!!

Lovely restaurant! Amazing food + staff. We came here twice as it was near our hotel. I loved the food, the staff are super sweet & accommodating, and the prices are reasonable. I’d definitely recommend the mezze platter and lentil soup - the rest id say order what you like as everything we tried was good. I enjoyed everything but I perhaps wouldn’t get iskender kebab again but this is a personal preference! The food overall is 10/10!💅🏼💘💋

We truly enjoyed our fine dinner at Mivan. Service was impeccable. Waitress checked what's for kids and what's for adults and the team was very attentive. Our food came out quick and it was delicious and beautifully served. We ordered lamb chops which melt in the mouth, iskander kebab of the perfect balance and pasta for kids- which they ate and asked for seconds. Our only regret was that we didn't have space left for desserts!

The food is absolutely mouthwatering. We have been going there everyday we are nearby! The service is absolutely fantastic!! They are very attentive to the order and customize based on requests! Definitely visit there otherwise you will miss out on great food!! Will be coming back on future trips!!

I had lunches and dinners here for six times in the restaurant during my trip to Istanbul. The chicken soup is terrific. I also recommend the chicken wing bakap. The mixed bakap is a little bit too salty for me but the meat is fresh. The restaurant atmosphere is cozy and you may enjoy a free Turkish tea at the end of your meal.

Fantastic food, and reasonable prices. This was our first meal in Istanbul and it couldn't have been better than Mivan. I asked for a dish to be vegetarian and they happily accommodated - the service was amazing and the food was even better. Would highly recommend!

We went to Mivan on our first night in Istanbul and after having tried other restaurant we returned there again. On our first visit we had meatballs and adana kebab, both were very good, and the latter was so delicious that we ordered it again on our second visit. What’s more, service is not obtrusive, and the pricing is adequate. Highly recommended.

Had dinner here, and we were very satisfied by the ambiance and the food. Kind personal, few small dishes from house as starters, tasty Adana kebab and very good lentils soup. There are some friendly cats here who come at your table to hug them. It was a good choice to come here.

Fantastic location. The staff is very helpful and kind. They always welcome us with a smile and kind words. Delicious food, aesthetic and comfortable environment. Cleanliness is maintained. You will not regret coming here. Bravo!!!

Fantastic food, nice ambience and good service. The mixed kebab was amazing: chicken, beef, lamb together - definitely recommended. Soups are also great. They serve 4 different complementary appetizers. This place stands out in the restaurant scene.

My partner and I came here on our first night in Istanbul as we were staying nearby and wanted something local with good reviews and we were not disappointed. The food and service were great, it was freshly prepared, came out quickly and tasted amazing. We had a meze starter to share and I had a mixed grill for main, ending with a traditional Turkish coffee. Really good value and the staff were attentive and friendly. Well worth a visit.

What a beautiful cafe this is, had my breakfast and the food was amazing. The staff is very nice and really helpful. Definitely would visit again, and don't forget to try the Apple Tea 🍵

Mivan is a must if you're in Istanbul. We came in on a rainy weeknight and the place was packed! The service is impeccable! The food came out at a reasonable time. One of my favorite restaurants in Istanbul!

Wonderful food and good value for money. Waiters were very friendly. We had lentil soup, chicken kebab, grilled chicken salad and avocado salad. They also gave us free bread and turkish dips before our food and a free tea at the end. Bill came to 1100 lira or around 40 USD - very good price for the quality of food. No extras or hidden charges.

Great food. We had their breakfast and then lunch. The Adanna Kebab was soft and the taste was just perfect. We had their omelet and Sucuklu Yumutra (eggs with sausage) for breakfast. What a wonderful gem that we found spontaneously during our walk in Istanbul thanks to Google Maps. Cozy atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and of course, the food is amazing! We tried the Meze plate, Shepherd salad, Chicken Shish, Iskender Kebap, and pomegranate fresh juice. Everything tasted so delicious! The meze plate had such a wonderful choice of traditional dishes, both meats were super nice. We enjoyed our lunch a lot and would definitely advise this place to everyone.

After many disappointing experiences in Istanbul, I can genuinely say Mivan is a refreshingly true five-star experience. They gave us excellent tables on the second storey overlooking the street.

The hummus and snacks were excellent, but what really impressed me was the delicious Mivan Special, especially the lamb belly kebab. That was wonderfully tender, with pieces of fat carefully interspersed amongst the meat to give moistness.

I also tried a bit of the aubergine stuffed with lamb which was wonderfully spiced, and the chicken shish which was skilfully cooked.

They also gave us complimentary apple tea to round off a lovely evening.

Mivan was a great place to have lunch. The service was great and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant, with nice music.
The food tasted very good and the portions were quite large enough. We ordered also some starters which was a bit too much at the end honestly.
The waiter was very welcoming and they offered Turkish coffee and tea on the house at the end of the meal.
They have a wide range of vegetarian options, that's a plus.
