I was dinning here with my family 4 nights, I have only the best things to say.. First and most important, their team is awesome! We were served by Harun and Esad, the guys are amazing, very kind and positive, good sense of humor as well, and both spoke perfect English! The rest of their team is also really polite and kind! If you get desert, go for Katmar, and you are sure to enjoy it, especially if Hamza serves it for you! Food is amazing, everything that we have had was really tasty.. I recommend Tasty Kebab, Beef in hummus, Manti and Iskinder chicken kebab.
For the drinks I recommend any of their lemonades, Melissa or Black tea.
Each night we got complimentary bread with sauces and Turkish tea, as well as Baklava..

The Testi Kebab was a bit salty and the flavor didn’t cook through the lamb.

For the Canadians reading this review, I think this chain restaurant is like Earl or a nicer White Spot. You should expect prices around that same range

Wonderful food (I got the Talit) and Oguz was so kind and gave me directions and as attentive. They have live music every night starting at 7. I was too early but will come back. Great prices on food. Delicious starters and their apple tea was also good!

What an amazing and excellent place to eat . Great service 100 % and very well taken care of by Angie she was amazing and the service she gave was excellent. She also gave us good advice on places to visit. We went to ear there four times in the week we were in Istanbul. All staff are very friendly. Would very highly recommend Resto Han, Hoca Pasa.

Food: 10/10. Average price: 13€ (kebab dish + Coca Cola). Would return? Yes.

I ordered a shish chicken kebab and it was really good. I would definitely repeat if I’m nearby.

They serve you complimentary bread (I think it’s bazlama) before your order, which come with a white and spicy sauce.

They also served us complimentary baklava and Turkish tea when they brought us the check.

The hospitality in this restaurant has been amazing. Great service, atmosphere (they have sofas) and food. Truly an amazing experience.

I greatly recommend coming here and encourage every restaurant to take this service as an example.

One of the best restaurants in Istanbul! We loved the service and the food, everything was amazing and Oguz was the best host! There was also live music which made everything even more perfect! Super recommended

Had the Mediterranean salad and haydari, both were amazing! The atmosphere is great, wasn’t too crowded but also not empty and the waiters were accommodating. Recommend getting a bite to eat if you’re in the neighborhood.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is great and the customer service is AMAZING!
My grandmother cannot chew very well. I asked them if they can give us only one piece of the donner kabob to see if she can chew it. They brought a few pieces without a question. That was very kind of them. THANK YOU!

Really nice restaurant and went there two nights during our stay in Istanbul… Sea bream and bass were fresh - would definitely recommend any fish dishes 😄
The hospitality was amazing because if you don’t know what to eat in Istanbul, their complimentary starter and dessert would show you a taste of Turkey.
Seeing staff having a little fiery ‘performance’ of their clay pot specialty added the friendly atmosphere to the place. I’m sure everyone will enjoy their meal here with comfortable vibes and nice staff (thank you so much Angie and Haroon 💖)

It was really the best luck to come here. Especially the waiter Mouad was the best. 🤗👍👍 Actually, today is my mother's birthday. So, the entire staff of her restaurant sang her song and congratulated her. Of course, delicious service was also presented. My mom was so happy. It's a perfect day bacause of him. I hope others will have the same happy experience as me. Highly recommended.🥳😁

The food and the service is amazing. We truly enjoyed our meals. We ordered Adnan kebab and beef with special hummus. Both dishes were so well flavoured. The house wine and local Turkish beer was also quite easy and light to complete the meal. The manager, Assad recommended us to have the Katmer dessert. So happy for the recommendation.

Top tip……Great night, good entertainment with a live singer, average prices also if you’re nearby you can get a takeaway

What a place!
It’s difficult to find such a caring and nice place in Sultanahmet. Big shout out to Resto Han and its staff, Oguz in particular, the service was excellent, they take care of you from A to Z, the restaurant and the ambience is really pretty, and the food is 10/10!

Fantastic place amd ambience! Ask for a seat outside and people watch as you eat drink and listen to live music. Best meal that we have in Turkiye so far. Food recommendations were great. We had a sea bream, tirkish raviloi and vegetables casserole. Asad - one of the kind english speaking waiters also did a great service us. He loves to joke and taught us some turkish words as well. Gave us free tea and baklava at the end of our meal as we chatted and make some great friends today.

Great location, really good food and service!! The chicken iskender was amazing and they served us baklava and apple tea afterwards. Loved it

Haroon was phenomenal offering fantastic service! He was attentive and offered great advice in what to eat! Forgot to get pictures of dinner but got a picture of dessert before it was gone!!! :) I always come here when I come to Istanbul! Thank you again! See you next time!

Had a fabulous lunch here today, waited on by Oguz who couldn’t do enough to make us happy and enjoy our meal. Shared the ottoman platter which was really tasty.
Would highly recommend and look out and say hi to Oguz.
