Arafat Köfte

Very delicikus Kofte! The owner was really warm and we get free dessert 😊

The food at Arafat Köfte, is one of the best we tried in Istanbul. The menu is simple, but what they make, they do it very well. The meat tastes fresh, well grilled on charcoal, and very tasty. Everything else was well prepared, from the rice to the halva dessert, was amazing. At the end they treat you with some dessert and/or Turkish tea.
Also the prices are very reasonable, so overall one of the best value for money places we visited in Istanbul.

Would definitely eat there every day, and would totally recommend a visit if you are in the region!

Just come here don’t go to tourist traps in the area. They are fast, very friendly, English speaking. The lentil soup was amazing and the kofte was great! They gave me a piece of dessert called halva which was quite interesting to me from the west. Prices are incredible for the quality of service and food. I’ve included a picture of their menu at the time I ate here(as it could change daily unfortunately due to the economy in Turkiye)

This is a great experience, basically shows us how restaurant business was operated in Istanbul. They work so efficiently together. And not to mention the food. Simple, delicious, the must try is kofte

Amazing little hidden gem where the cooking is local, not touristy. Highly recommended

Great köfte and quite cheap. At the end, as a gift, they gave some kind of sweetness from semolina with nuts.

If you are looking for Kofte, stop searching for it. The answer is Arafat Köfte. Juicy, well seasoned, also it comes with well known turkish rice and the freshy tomatoes with grilled pepper.

When it comes to price. it is really underrated for it dish. Just find Mr. Suat and say I'm here for Köfte!

Excellent service, not pushy at all (unlike other places in Istanbul), food very good and cheap, personally very kind and they als offered us a dessert which we did not ask for!

Food: 8/10, the lentil soup was flavorful, and the chicken was very tasty and juicy. The lamb was also good but not quite at the same level.

Service: 8/10, fast and attentive

Value: 10/10, you won’t get a better bang for your buck than here

Best food in the area! In a tiny little street, ignore every tourist traps around and come to this delicious little restaurant! Prices are totally reasonable compared to all the scammers around, authentic food and one of the best I’ve eaten in Istanbul

A calm lunch oasis in the middle of hectic central Istanbul, with friendly, polite, attentive staff and delicious köfte and lentil soup, and free dessert! Also had 2 cups of tea, a coke and a Turkish coffee, the whole meal costing about £6. Amazing value.
