Lake Mogan

I wasn't expecting much from looking at the pictures, but it's a very peaceful, comfortable and beautiful place just 30 minutes away from the bustling city center. There are walking tracks along the lake shore and boat rides. When the weather warms up someday, I'll definitely come back for a boat ride.

Mogan lake takes place at Gölbaşı. It is in wide area and good for refreshment at weekends or weekdays. There are cafes for breakfast and the prices are normal there. Just don't forget, if you order something order than breakfast it will be expensive which is tricky. At the weekends the lake is very crowded. There are many people having picnic around. Entrance to the park by person is free but entrance to the park by your car is not, you have to pay for parking. I recommend you to visit the park if you want to enjoy your time. You can take your own breakfast too.

Pretty lake in Ankara, sunset is amazing but be sure to be on the east side of the lake (I think opposite side of the official park entrance) , lots of cafes and restaurants along the east side, as well as walking and bike paths.
