Hali̇l Usta Kebap & Lahmacun

During our trip, we’ve been here 2 or 3 times for good food and service.

Food: Fresh and tasty. We ordered a mixed grill plate, a pizza, and beverages. Cost around 700-750 Lira with a decent portion of good food. Appetizers (bread and sauce) were tasty.

Service: Warm and friendly. Also served cups of tea after the meal.

Atmosphere: Cozy.

Will be there again if we visit Istanbul next time.

Delicious authentic Turkish food. I was looking for a place authentic Turkish restaurant to take my friends. I could not be happier with Ismail Usta Kebap.
We went there 5 of us, had more than enough food for only 160TL($27.5USD). Amazing restaurant with delicious and very affordable.

The food here is sooo good! And the prices with portion sizes are right too. Make sure to try their Mixed Kebab.

The waiter didn’t speak english, was not necessary, we could discuss everything. He was attentive. Food was good

This is the best of Turkish traditional food restaurant. Really delicious Turkish pizzas, with vegetables or meat. Or great kebabs, maybe red lentil soup. Whatever you like. Everything is hot, fresh and hygienic. If you happen to be in Istanbul Constantine police, you should definitely try the delicious dishes of master Acıktım Halil Usta. maybe it is not a luxury restaurant, but a good example of shabby and Turkish cuisine's best cross-street flavors.

Lahmacun is a MUST try! The yoghurt with diced mint leaves is so good too! Great staff and fast service.

Very good customer service. The food is amazing, better than most of the big restaurants on the high street. I was almost full from the free starters they gave. I have been here twice now and have not had a disappointing dish or experiance yet. Highly recommended!

Great service, Great food and very very affordable. Down a more quiet street, we had a late lunch here a few days ago. We ordered 2 Lahmacun (one standard, one eggplant), 2 ayran, 2 waters, a kunefe to share for dessert (AMAZING!) and 2 teas. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the bill came to less than 35TL!! The man the served us was very nice. Highly recommend this place!!

Good traditional Turkish food, the service is attentive and polite, the prices are according to the quality of the meals. Love the Aubergine with lamb kebab. Full of local people, we dined 2 times in this place during our stay in Istanbul.

This place is a gem! It's now named La Festa but I guess it is the same menu? The food and service were amazing and prices quite reasonable. Two can eat very well for 50 tl. We spent a week in Istanbul and agreed it was the best meal we ate!

Note: I think they have rebranded to an Italian pizza restaurant, but the menu is still the same.

The kunefe was fantastic! Super tasty

We ended up ordering 4 lamacun and 2 konefe plus drinks for around 50 lira.

The dough is so crunchy, cheese tastes great, the meat, the spices. Just wow!

This place is a gem. The staff are so nice and will teach you how to speak Turkish while feeding you delicious kabob or lahmacun. It’s really cheap too. And my favorite part, they serve large tea!!
