Aravan Evi Restaurant

The girlfriend found this place after some research online, and we had it marked for some time during our stay in Kappadokia. Turns out, it was the best meal experience of the entire vacation. It’s hidden in a small village (and Google maps has it in the wrong location). It’s a short drive outside the main tourist areas nearby, but extremely worth it. The service and hosting were top notch, the atmosphere of the terrace beneath the grape vines was perfect, and all of that was topped by the food. Incredible spread of homemade and homegrown dishes, we ate until we were stuffed. Definitely worth a stop for dinner, and frankly I would probably stay at the hotel next time I’m in the region to be somewhere away from tourists.

This was easily one of the best meals we had in Turkey. The host and his mother cook incredibly fresh ingredients from their garden and they make food so simple taste very complex. It’s a must!

Such a memorable experience! We had dinner here and everything was absolutely fantastic. It was home cooking at its finest and we savored every bite. The experience was so lovely too, as it was in this cute bed and breakfast run by a very sweet Turkish family who welcomed us as if we were guests in their home. I will remember this meal and this whole evening forever. Thank you so much for the amazing night. We will be back, and we will be sending all of our friends here too. Absolutely amazing!

Great hosta and amazing food. We were cordially welcomed and had one of the best home made foods in Turkey. Ingredients are locally grown in their own garden. So fresh and delicious.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. We booked a day in advance so they got enough time to cook local food in earth ovens using clay amporas. The food was superb. Highly recommended. Reservations required.

Cok guzel bir yer. Yemekleri cok lezzetli ama onceden arayip rezervasyon yapmak gerekiyor.
