Ofluoglu Izgara Kofte

This restaurant is at a gas station. It is very clean. The staff are an amazingly efficient team to get you seated, ordered, served. I have been twice to eat in and once as take out. The kofte are good, they are a Turkish specialty made with baking soda in the meat mixture which I do taste but many do not seem to mind. Choice of 3 kofte (Ofluoglu special-plain, slightly spicy, or with cheese bits) you can order separately or mixed. Plate comes with spoonful of potato purée, spoonful of buttered rice pilaf and slightly grilled tomato and green pepper to add color to plate. I highly recommend ordering the stewed beans with meat and an order of pilaf. I think their beans deserve equal billing with the kofte.
There are also deserts. Oven baked rice pudding, not too sweet. Ordered the “cheese sweet” last night to share. 3 balls of a spongy yeast dough that had been soaked in a sweet syrup. They were covered with unsweetened tahini, buried in crushed hazelnuts and served with a small dollop of clotted cream. You must try. The syrup was not cloyingly sweet and the tahini and hazelnuts combo was amazing -the cream was just a garnish. If/when I return to this restaurant, it will be just for this desert and a glass of strong tea.

Last evening the restaurant was crowded and we watched the 4 waitstaff seat serve and clear tables as if we were watching a floor show. No one seemed to feel rushed. It is very difficult to ignore their efficiency as even with the high turnover of guests the dining room of the restaurant is spotless, fresh and inviting. They deserve recognition as much as the food. Well done!

Mahallemizde çok eskilerden tanıdığımız bir esnafın işlettiği bir lokanta. İlk defa gitme fırsatı bulduk. Fiyatlar oldukça makul, porsiyonlar tatmin edici, atmosfer güzel, lokasyon sakin. Ailecek gidilebilecek nadide mekanlardan.

Kuru fasülye, pilav, çorba ve cacık yedim. Hepsi de oldukça lezzetliydi. Hizmet ve lezzet kalitesine göre fiyatı da uygun. Son derece temiz bir restoran. Çalışanları güler yüzlü. Hızlı servis.

Kusursuz bir mekan pilav kavurma yoğurt kuru fasulye hepsi ayrı lezzetli yolum düştüğü her an buradan yemeyi planlıyorum. Fiyatları görünce inanamadım çok uygundu. Kredi kartı geçse daha güzel olabilir.

Kuru fasulye pilav cok iyiydi. Cacik basari...sutlac bir o kadar basariliydi. Kavurma kurumustu ama lezzetliydi. 3 lu denemelisiniz. Nezih bir aile restoranti...garsonlar temiz ve duzgun ..servis hizli...mekan ferah ve temiz...fiyatlar makul...izgara kofte standart idi. Otopark belli saatlerde sorun olabilir...engelliye uygun giris var...denemelisiniz

Kurufasulye pilav, kavurma ve sütlaç mükemmel, köfte, kavurma, yoğurt güzel. Sık sık giderim, kötü olan bir ürününe denk gelmedim. Servis personeli ilgili, fiyatları piyasanın altında, tek olumsuzluk bir türlü kredi kartıyla satışa geçmiyorlar.

Köfte çok lezzetli, sütlaç beni adeta Hamsiköy'e götürdü. Fiyatlar baya uygun ama porsiyonlara küçük bu şekil dengelemişler sanırım. Memnun kaldım.
