Absolutely loved this place! Down a little alley not far from Taksim, it was full of locals tucking into amazing looking food (we were the only tourists but were welcomed very warmly). You walk in past the soup area (lentil soup is superb) then the guy on the till finds you a table / seats. Can vouch that the chicken kebab (plated) is an absolute triumph and I'd also recommend the ayran, served from a gurgling contraption into beautiful copper cups.

Overall, this is exactly what I hoped to find in Istanbul; I'd recommend it very highly, just sit in and enjoy the real experience! Prices were fair (it's not a cheap city) and service friendly. Cards accepted.

I like kelle paça soup here, yeah, it's not cheap, but meat in soup is fresh and tasty, a lot of meat in soup. recommend to taste other soups here too. simple Turkish cusine place

Great place for soups! Very kind people, very tasty all the çorbas! My favorites are kelle paça and tongue soup.

Excellent Adana wraps.. just make sure you order the “double” if you’re a meat lover.

Heartwarming, fulfilling and quite affordable selection of soups. Some of the soup ingredients might be exotic for non Turkish people, but you won't know until you try, if you do so, I'm sure some of you will get hooked to some of it. Ask for "şırdan", quite an awkward looking stuffed intestin, I do not know of any other place in İstanbul offering a better testing one

The staff was lovely and we got our food fast. Tasteful, did the job for a 3am drunken snack. Recommend.

We always order Mercimek & Ciğer and home made Ayran. Very deliciouse food + Very friendly Stuff... cant be better

I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have the opportunity to eat here, or can't eat the food for any reason. The food is great and the portions are not so big so you can taste different dishes. It looks traditional as far as I know, which is another positive for me. I ate there twice and I probably could eat there every single day!
