Istanbul Anatolian Cuisine

After reading so many great reviews, hubby and I decided to give it a go and we are glad we did!!

We ordered the humus and eggplant as starters and the Ottoman Moussaka. The dishes came with pita bread and every dish tasted really wonderful, bursting with flavours. And price wise was pretty decent as well. And after the meal, they gave us a lovely baklava each to sweeten the night.

Their resident cat was such a cutie and really friendly. It was very well mannered and despite sleeping on the heater next to us, it didn’t attempt to grab our food at all.

We will definitely make our way back to this little gem for our meals.

food was amazing we went to here with our Good friends 3 times... we are lucky we found this such a lovely place... This is a really great place, super service amazing, number 10, the staff was very very honest here... they help you in every way. I found Istanbul Anatolian Cuisine with a friend while we made a quick stopover in Istanbul. We chose it based on the great reviews and were not disappointed! This place is a gem, and our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic.

From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance made us feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch throughout our visit.

The entrees were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. They went above and beyond with the clay pot demonstration. It added a unique touch to our dining experience...it's not every day you get to witness your meal being prepared with such skill and passion.

Now, let's talk about the true highlight – Jessica, the resident cat. She added an extra layer of charm to our evening. Adorable and well-mannered, Jessica was sleepy, warm, and sweet. It's not every day you get to enjoy a meal in the company of such a delightful feline friend!

Great food and service we have been in many cafes and restaurants and this is One for sure is one of best of best place in old Town... The decor in the restaurant was very nice and had some cool pictures represting anatolain history of the area and overall had A great time highly recommend it to everyone atmosphere was amazing thank you very much

A hidden gem in the old part of town. Small, cute, with a good selection of dishes. The food, service, music and atmosphere are fantastic. They have a cat Jessica who is beautiful and cuddly. The host Veysel is a very polite, nice person, funny and a great football connoisseur. Be sure to try the Ottoman musakka.

The staff is very nice and hospitable. The food is amazing, especially the lamb casserole. I went there two days in a row to eat lamb ;)
They also serve you Turkish tea and baklava on the house, very pleasant gesture.
You can sit inside or outside. The location provides a calm and quiet atmosphere.
You can pay both with cash and card.

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious hunkar begendi. Exceptionally good tea (less bitter and sweeter than other places). Highly recommend!

Ahhh this place is amazing! I never write reviews but have to for this place. Best food, best service and a cute wee street that is quiet enough. Alexander kebab was a highlight for us. So good we came back here twice! They even give you complimentary baklava for desert! You have to come here!

If you like food with some spice and flavour then definitely visit this place, their Adana kebab was fantastic and their spicy Ezme was the main reason I went to this place and it definitely met my expectations, owner was also a great humble guy, highly recommend!

Great place to have a tasty dinner. We received complimentary bread and delicious spicy vegetable. Main courses - chicken casserole and grilled meatballs were stunning. Than we received also baklava, which was full of nuts and honestly the best I have ever eaten. I cannot forget to mention great service and very kind and polite staff. Overall - i am definitely coming back soon.

A great authentic find off the beaten track but worth the detour. We had the adana kebabs which hit the spot! And with exemplar service from our host who made us feel so very welcome - the complimentary baklava and tea which was really sweet (pun indended) and made for a nice wholesome experience.

We were warmly greeted and given an appetizer on the house.
The chosen dishes were very tasty and the freshly squeezed orange juice made the dinner round.
Last but not least we had baklava again on house and a great conversation with the owner of the restaurant.
I would recommend anyone to visit the restaurants .

Loved it so much we came back for more! Veysel is brilliant and very funny, he had a warm welcome which instantly made us smile and enjoy every second we spent in this restaurant. The clay pots were delicious! Not to mention the show that comes with it🎉 Also served the best hummus I’ve ever had. It’s all fantastic!!
