Last night I was reading the reviews and I was terrified of the racist behavior I was gonna encounter with! And how much I was gonna wait in line.
I did my address registration here however, everyone was very nice and helpful, and I finished all my work in less than 5 minutes.

Most important. You need to be appointment and then you should be come over here before 1 hour half hour as well but I proud turkey there is a mini rules and regulation changed every day outside security guard speak like a fight it's a behavior but inside very kind I already like it her

What a fabulous experience I had! The staff at this office were helpful and because I had all my paperwork in order and I arrived early I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Even if your appointment is for later in the day I suggest you go early. From submitting the online application to receiving my card everything went ahead without a hitch. I must say I was so lucky because I received my card in my hand exactly 15 days from online form submission. This must be some kind of record! Very pleased and very thankful to Turkey for being so generous in giving out so many residencies every year. Now I have a home while I wait out this pandemic.

I came to submit my Ikamet application yesterday around 9 AM.
I was expecting to get a mess, long lines and ignorant attitude as it was described in earlier comments.

But I was surprised how smooth and fast it went. It took me just 30 mins to do all the paperwork (even though I messed up and filled one form in English) and to scan fingerprints.

Yes. There were about 200 people in front of me. From the vey moment I got there to the moment it was my turn to talk to the person responsible, it took about an hour and a half. They were quite fast. Also, I’m not saying they are exceptionally fluent in English, but you can manage. Make sure you go there early, otherwise you’re gonna get cooked under the scorching sun while waiting for your turn (or just hope it be cloudy).

P.S. They open at 9, but you might not find the person you’re looking for at that time. If you have business there, know that working hours might fluctuate.

Came here to submit a residency (ikamet) application. After reading the negative reviews here, I was expecting a bureaucratic nightmare which would last for many hours. Instead, I was done with my application in less than an hour. My extremely limited Turkish ("Merhaba, bugün ikamet randevu... nedere?") was sufficient, and the employees were trying their best to help. Many spoke languages other than Turkish, so I'm not sure where the comments below are coming from. People would usually switch to English when they heard my bad Turkish, or they'd try explaining and repeating slowly in Turkish, so everything went really well.

I would still advise anyone to come in early (my appointment was for 4PM, I was here at 1PM). You'll probably need to get a dosya (a pink file for documents) at the store/copy shop nearby, too.

Wow! I never imagined to be in and out so fast! You guys are doing it the right way and the world should follow! Ps. DO NOT FORGET THE PINK FOLDER. They won't accept other colored folders.

Very good quality and service, the staff were very good and fast response. And current year no worries because the system is better throughout the year also very systematic.

Nomad E… Are you guys refugees or tourists ? Sorry to hear your unfortunate experience in Turkey , unfortunately waiting would be annoying and yes some of the people are truly ignorant, but I wish you all the best until refugee system sits in well in Turkey.

Staffs have good behavior but they can't speak English and it was defficult to speak up.

I went there on 2/6 second day after they open from corona , they line was so long but going fast, there is translator English and Arabic men in the lines they help you and guide you to were u go.

Finished everything in 30 mins, my appointment was at 9...
It would really help if you come early to this place so you can finish early
