Great experience to shop. The guy did not push us to buy and the collection was just fantastic. We were lucky that we were the only customers so got the undivided attention. Go for the extensive collection and prices are fairly reasonable

We had this lovely pottery commissioned when we were in Istanbul.

The entire process was excellent. Oner consulted with us and the artist to achieve the outcome we wanted. Communication and shipping was hassle free.

We will definitely order more pottery from them in the future.

An artists haven. This was the best experience I had in Istanbul for a person who deeply values traditional arts, and those made with real passion by real artists.
I met Mr. Tahir and Mr. Ömer who were more than welcoming, friendly, and took the time to explain the different techniques of this beautiful craft and its process.
I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Istanbul - it’s a must, and well worth the experience.

High quality and interesting ceramics and great service, without hard pressure to buy. The two pieces I chose were shipped back home to me and arrived safe and sound. I would shop here again in a heartbeat.

It was a pleasure to shop at this store - it was filled with such lovely items, the owner was delightful and helpful, not at all pushy which we found in so many other stores in Istanbul. He gave us time to look around, answered our questions, and arranged for our purchases to be shipped home.

A good store of ceramic tiles. You can find a handmade tile (~ 65TL) and fabric tile (~ 10 TL). A couple of years ago, Russell Crowe, Oprah Winfrey and Bill Clinton visited the store and factory :)

I purchased a small Iznik vase and a larger Iznik style one. Tahir is an absolute gentleman and very transparent with both prices and the products he is selling. I highly recommend avoiding the grand bazaar and coming here for authentic Turkish ceramics. Both Kutahya and Iznik styles at various price ranges are available. He also has a selection of pieces from other local artists and artisans.

Ceramic classics paradise. Go there just to take pictures or to present your mum the best hand painted plate you can imagine in town. Definitely Izmir shop is quintessential art!

Great hand-made products. English speaking seller. We really enjoyed buying our ceramic there as he could give us historical and technical context. Better quality than in the great bazaar. And last but not the least, he doesn't put pressure on us to purchase.

A pleasure to shop here. No pressure to buy, the ceramics sell themselves. This isn't a place where you get the mass produced items available all over Istanbul. The items we handled were all signed by the artists. Prices are at a level that you could probably buy retail, sell at home and still make a profit. They have more than one shop, so if the one you're in is quite small ask for directions to the shop with 5 floors.

I don't define this shop just a boutique.
It is a temple for ceramic lovers.
A pleasure to talk almost 30 minutes with the owner that had the courtesy to explain me all the different styles in the art of ceramic.
Worth a visit, no matter if you want to buy or not.
And forget the fake stuff (without generalizing) you find around the bazars.

Çok güzel bir mekan. Kime ne hediye alsam diye girseniz bile eliniz kolunuz dolu çıkarsınız. Çok mükemmel eşyalar el yapımı eserler mevcut. Pahalı olanda uygun fiyat olan ürün de var. Ama tavsiye ederim.
